@@CANTKILLCHEWIE You should make a list of the most expensive ones but from the clone wars line, the prices on clones such as Arc Colt, Blitz or Havoc are just ridiculous haha.
I got back into 3.75 Star Wars figures this year, it started with the Slave I and the Boba Fett. And honestly, after getting all the most recent TVC waves and the ARCS troopers and ordering the Razor Crest, I'm all in for TVC. The Black series is such a joke now, it seems like just about everything is an exclusive lately, and I'm over it. TVC is very available, and I've actually FOUND THEM IN THE STORE!!!! I haven't seen a Black Series figure in the store since triple force Friday last year. So yeah, basically, TVC has won me over, keep TVC videos coming!!!
I did both Black Series and TVC, but I think I'm jumping the Black Series boat too. It helps that TVC did my boy Fives first. The wait for the Razor Crest is gonna be so hard to sit through, but so worth it.
I started collecting Star Wars figures when i was in third grade (6 years ago). I saw some figures titled "The Vintage Collection". They looked really cool, and I remember begging for a Greivous when he was $25. I started getting a few, like the episode 4 Han, Scout trooper, Yavin Luke, And pilot Luke. Ive always been an in box collector and im not sure why I unboxed those 4, but im pretty sad I did, those were some cool figures. But ive started up a new collection. Ive got Rex on pre-order, and I own Anikan, Obi-Wan, Wolfe, and the carbonized Mandolorian.
@@_STITCHER_ That's a sweet start dude. Idk I open everything, I understand the appeal to keeping them on the card, and I do save the cards, but I can only afford one of everything andddd I like to enjoy and display the figure 😁 hopefully you're able to get more and maybe even the ARC 3 pack!!
yes although some ppl think the tvc is on it way out, i think 3.75 is gonna come back a little bit, now Gi joe is doing it. I wish they would release some better figures in the tvc but I like the smaller waves in the tvc, like about 4 figures at a time. 8 new black series figures followed by another 8 in a month is too much, too fast
Thanks for the TVC love, Matt! I exclusively collect the 3 3/4" figures and sometimes I feel like a leper since I don't have any of the Black Series. 😄 Great video again and it was awesomely entertaining! Look forward to more!
I managed to find my Greivous about four years ago in the most unlikely of places. In the UK we have a chain of discount stores called B&M Bargins, they sell products that have either not sold well anywhere else or have not met quality control. It was one of my first visits there and when I went to the toy isle I found a wave of Vintage Collection figures with Greivous being one of them, I think I got him for about £12.00 so it was quite a steal.
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE The only other one I remember was the TVC Blue Royal Guard, I was tempted to get him also but he went soon after. I think grievous was actually hidden by someone else who probably intended to come back for him.
I got TVC Grievous years ago, I've always been a big fan of Grievous so when I found him (in a Walmart I think) I picked him up. Had No idea he was going for this much online
Awesome video, I've made it a mission to eventually collect all variants of tvc original trilogy stormtrooper, boba fett and vader. Those are my favorite characters figures
I was a lucky boy and got Grievous when he was still on store shelves all those years ago. Honestly suprised he isn't broken given how much playing he went through
My kids love the 3.75 inch Star Wars figures and that is what I will continue to buy. Thank you for the video, really appreciate your review. The only issue was that Boba Fett, which you research thoroughly.
I do not really collect 3.75 inch figures anymore. I have some from the original trilogy in my collection and Episode 1 but I mostly focus on Black Series and just started 1/6th collecting and statues. I do have the Prototype Boba TVC on its card and the figure looks great! I am really enjoying your videos!
Only started collecting TVC when they announced the Razor Crest (so only mandalorian figures for now), really want to do some amazing dioramas with the figures, mostly because I collect BS but in box only, so I can't wait to open the VC ones! Do a list on best VC vehicles! Love your videos!!
Well, that TVC clone trooper mold wasn't the first time 3,75" clone trooper figures received ball hinged hips, that would be the mold used for the Gelagrub patrol pack trooper and 30th anniversary commander Gree figure that was also released in the TVC as a regular white phase 2 clone trooper and a 212th trooper. I personally think that other than an inaccurate crotch armor sculpt that mold was absolutely perfect and I wish Hasbro would've released more repaints of it. P.S great video as always, really dig your content, man:) Upd: I forgot about the clone gunner mold that was also repainted into a 501st trooper, it was technically the first to introduce better hipjoints, but the upper body articulation was severely lacking
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE if you're talking about the one used for the white phase 2 trooper, commanders Cody & Gree, Gelagrub patrol trooper and 212th, then not at all, but if you're talking about the mold you showed in the video (the later tvc clone mold), then they are ABSOLUTELY anorexic and I 100% agree with you. But as previously stated I was talking about an earlier mold that was indeed also used in the TVC, but as far as I believe it was introduced with either Commander Gree or with the Gelagrub trooper. It had the "antenna mold" proportions, but added hipjoints and that is my favorite clone trooper mold of all time, too bad Hasbro introduced that skinny boi mold:/
I have the following: Darth Sidious, Emperor's Royal Guard, Bastilia Shan, Kit Fisto, Jango Fett, Clone Trooper, Nein Numb, both Sandtroopers, General Grievous, and Rocket Firing Boba Fett. What I'm missing are Darth Vader(Emperor's Wrath).
I could be taking about an hour about this video, but I´ll only say a couple of things: First, I actually own the grievous (I feel lucky). Second, I also have the first Boba Fett version of TVC 09 (The ESB version, I never put my hands on the other ones except for the sail barge one but in my opinion the best one is the one that I have). Third: Awesome video. Fourth: I´m no rich man, I had them for like 7 year or more haha Luckily I still have that Grievous carded originally :D
i buy and preorder every black series figur of an mandalorian (Jango ,boba ,the mandalorian, sabine and so on ). now I don't know whether I should unpack it or leave it packed
I have the Ahsoka vintage clone wars art card, vintage Wickett original card, vintage c3po original art card and first appearance cartoon bobafett 25th anniversary with the coin :-).
I'm not sure if anyone else has/saw his, but when I was in 3rd grade I got a four pack of figures. It was a Vader transformation. Idk if that's the name but it came with the palpating and shock trooper seen here. If only I din't loose them...
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE So I did some research, its "The Rise Of Darth Vader" 4 pack. its going for 37.50 on amazon. Considering its 150 to buy those figures on a vintage card. "This four pack will make a fine addition to my collection."
@@_STITCHER_ oh very interesting, ok so the shock trooper and Sidious are the same as this list but the vader's different so yea thats cool, $40s a good deal
The only figure i have is the prototype boba fett 😂😭😭, man i wanna collect TVC but I'm already stuck on black series and marvel legends. My wallet can't afford it lmao. But great video i love these top 10 lists 😍
I have quite a few of these. Seeing these vids have made me get them out and take some pics of them. I never knew these were worth so much (though mine are loose). Also I never noticed how much Bastilla Shan looks like Elon Musk till this video 😂😂
Bruh, you know what would be awesome. Ralph Mcquarrie Star Wars concept art figures for Black Series. Now thatt is lit. you should google it, those figures are awesome af.
The only one i have from that list is the Emperor, I took off all the soft goods he had, even the plastic hood. Now he look like an old creepy man laughing at his own jokes. He blend in perfectly in my black series collection.
I feel your pain. There are some VC figures I could have got for $30 and I thought nah too much. After seeing what they are going for now. Wow I made some bad decisions.
Loved it!, you should do the list of the ones we’re still missing on the tvc, some characters that we all want to see, by the way did you buy the razor crest?, I did
Commander Cody Is 250+ in the package and he is just a release of the legacy collection. I was lucky I got commander Cody on a legacy collection card for 60+ dollars something like that and that was in 2019 around Christmas time so good luck finding him now
I buy and sell and these videos are great because you do the work for me in terms of values. I have a ton of loose figures from all different lines and these do sell the best. I am trying to get what I have up for sale before Christmas.....
love your content, i love the hunting vids, sionce i dont go out, and love watching the figures, i would love a figure of clone 99, or sargent kreel from SCAR squadron
I never knew that plapatine was expensive. I have him from when i was a kid still but missing the hood and lightsaber. Wonder if its still worth somethin
i think you should make a top least expensive vc video. they might be just disney but you never know. i really thought to see the gonk droid in this video
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE just to piss off black series collectors 😈😈. Still confused why X figure is so expensive just because of the card they are on. Like there is like you said a cheaper figures of X figure but collectors still just for the card. Maybe I shouldn't say anything cause I open my figures and take photos of them
@@Shadow_trooper_studio yea its pretty crazy right? but i think so ppl just dont know and some are just trying to complete some kind set, be it all the trooper releases or all the TVC, and some just want the card
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE it is great you are doing these kinds of videos for old and new collectors. I understand collecting just for the card cause they could have a great card art. I just hope Hasbro purplish a book with all the card art and the figures with some details.
Honest question Ckc Why are there a lot of random movie scenes in between some stuff? Some work, some make the video a bit awkward. New guy to ur channel and nice job with the figures
I'm surprised about Darth Sidious Ep lll, cause one time i bought that figure in the mexico city for the price of $300 MXN that is $15 USD and the figure was carded in perfect conditions
I’ve just started collecting these figures but trying to find a broad collection from a retailer is near impossible. Even the Disney website only sells a few characters. Another thing with these figures is that they can get far to expensive for what they are and so many fakes online.
Okay I know I've left a comment already but if you think about TVC and the Retro Collection The names should be switched because TVC figures have those retro cardbacks, so it'd make sense if they were called "The Retro Collection" And the retro Collection should be called TVC because its literally the vintage Collection So just, just think about that
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE it seem it is the BOBA FETT Star Wars Original Trilogy Collection Hasbro Figure New on Card 2004 the one that was in a double case. not sure the real value of it.
Funny thing is I bought the Royal Guard black series thinking it was as a 6 inch figure cuz I didn’t read it all the way and that short boi showed up and I was like 👁👄👁. Wut
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE oh sorry. My bad. The grievous one. It looked exactly like that and was one of my favorites because of the arms being able to unite to two arms and split to four. Also the fact that the chest armor was removable
I recently found out that i accidently left my collection of star wars figures i collected since i was a kid at my old place i was renting. Didnt find out until recently when i went to find them to display them
