Regrets: In August of 2015 The Disney Store had a lot of those rare Black Series 3.75 on the pegs. I had both Mara Jade and Starkiller in my hands, but I didn't care for them at the time so I left them. I REGRET EVREYTHING
The thing about being a collector is that you always seek to expand your collection. Having most of the figures on this list what I really want is a repack of the VC General Grievous and Magna Guard. Also, I was really disappointed by the 6 inch Grievous from the Black Series because his scale is wrong and the figure doesn’t do him justice.
The #1 Figure on this list was definitely a shock to me. The Black Series 3.75 repack of that figure was warming pegs at discount outlets like Burlington Coat factory for MONTHS. I think I finally caved and picked up one for $2.99.
The Asoka figures head and body is all out of proportion to me. You are exactly right though, it’s the card art your paying for. Even her hair if u call it that isn’t long enough.
If you want the Old Republic Trooper and don’t care about the card art, he also got a Black Series repack and goes for £20-£50 on eBay. Same thing goes for the repack of the Starkiller figure.
Fantastic video, I really enjoyed this TVC version. I only have the Arc trooper commander from this list and a loose slave leia! Ahsoka is getting a new TVC figure soon shhh!
hey thanks Mike! i have a few as well but none of the clone troopers 😥, actually yes, i remember kylo leaking that this summer! you mentioned it too in a vid but yea i saw the new update! DONT CHANGE THE CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only own 6 Vintage collection figures but I was shocked that a few were on here. I have ARC Trooper Commander, Ahsoka, Republic Trooper, Barris Offee, General Kenobi, and Darth Malgus all unpunched in great condition. I could of sworn I had Shae Vizla as well because I was buying anything they made for the mmo. Might be time to let these go and let someone else enjoy them.
Here are the expensive TVC figures that I have. 1. Bikini Slave Leia 2. Bastila Shan(The Old Republic Video Game) 3. Arc Trooper Commander 4. Luke Skywalker Dagobah Landing 5. Republic Trooper(The Old Republic Video Game) 6. Ahsoko Tano Here are the TVC figure that I want 1. Darth Malgus 2. Bane Starkiller 3. Shae Vizla 4. Echo Base Trooper 5. Nikto(Skiff Guard) 6. Commander Cody 7. Darth Vader(Emperor's Wrath) I would like to see a SWVC top 10 most expensive vehicles.
On top of all of that, you're giving us a history lesson. I feel like one of the students in Indiana Jones classes, does X truly not mark the spot! Haha
i never really collected star wars because of the articulation but I had no idea these vintage collection figures had cool articulation so Im gonna have to pick up some figures.
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE when I was growing up in the 80's I never really owned any star wars figures cause the articulation was terrible. 95 percent of my toys were Gijoe and that was my main toyline growing up. I did eventually get some Star wars in the mid 90's when the power of the force came out but they didnt get much playtime. at least they finally decided to release some articulated star wars figures lol.
600 for Ahsoka. One that I was watching on eBay actually sold for that much. Yeah. We had it on one of the Paliboys streams and all talked about how crazy that was. -but .... we just heard a few days ago that she will be in one of the repacks waves coming up in 2021. So we will be able to get her as a repack eventually. I’m looking forward to grabbing that one. Thanx for the great video.
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE she was 15/16 seeing as she was 17 in seasons 7 soo yeah kinda weird comment to say that ur attracted to a child 😆 even if she was 18 its a weird comment
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE I just want her sitting.. that's so cool. I think I do have slave leia if you take the extra accessories off the desert sandstorm leia figure. ;)
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE did a nice pit with a floor above with Jabba and the rest of the main cast for the scene, trap door and all. Came out cool. Want to buy the actual play set back drop of Jabba’s palace for it then it would be movie accurate
I don't think he really is into card art. He can't ever get the 2009 Legacy Collection card art if he doesn't also have 2009's with the #4 VC on this list. Another 2009 Slave Leia I'm never selling but keeping mounted in a mansion den: Star Wars Unleashed Slave Leia MOC from the Unleashed Star Wars of that year. 😉
@@lawrencejelsma8118 I mention the legacy collection slave leia. and I have the star wars unleashed slave leia and i bought that one specifically because of the card art and have spoken with the artist actually who still does star wars figure and boardgame art. and if we're talking about the same unleashed figure, its from 2004 and not 2009 right? the star wars unleashed that are statues kind of
MOC - but haven’t paid attention to their value as I like displaying them (especially Ahsoka and Apprentice) This was a pleasant sunrise - as was part 2. Thanks again!
I have Return of the Jedi's sandstorm (slave) Leia and she looks similar to TVC version but I must say that alternate pair of legs and cup are awesome. I'm surprised that it's so expensive.
yea the sandstorm one is cool! i loved all of those when they came out but yea the legs make the figure amazing, it too bad the tvc version didnt include them
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE sorry, I was confused: the legacy collection (TLC) is the one which has alternate legs. Well, I collect slave Leia figures. I was looking for Power of the Jedi figure which included a cannon. However TLC version looks awesome and is better than PoJ
What's better than owning all of these is that I got them all for under $100 in an ebay lot years ago, including extras that were sold off for a pretty penny :D
I substituted the Starkiller head from the 2011 TFU PS2 character outfits. Those 3 starkiller heads from the toysrus exclusive absolutely nailed it. Oh and they dont look like Space VanGogh had D.T.s while mass producing black series figures.
10) Missed those 9) Missed it 8) Got one 7) Got it 6) Didn’t want it 5) Got it 4) Got it 3) Nope 2) Never saw it (Looks like Drew Barrymore) 1) Yes. Got it!
One thing I know WON’T happen (though I wish it would) is for Hasbro to release a Black Series 6 inch Captain Fordo that has the exact accessories that the vintage collection figure comes with. Maybe make the phase 2 helmet a BARC trooper helmet for continuity, but make him be able to sport his phase 1 and 2 style looks.
I’ve always considered the ARC Commander as Ordo Skirata from the Republic Commandos novels. I’m fortunate to have snagged most of these the first time around, but that’s why I’m not very stoked for TVC anymore. I’d rather Hasvro focused on more Black Series figs and vehicles. As for lists, most valuable 3.75 Clone Wars figures please!
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE most valuable of the 2008-2013 Clone Wars line. Those were my favorite figures of all. That’d be cool if Hasbro made a six inch line with those.
Its crazy how now every figure on this list is way more expesive, i just got an Ahsoka, 501st and a AT-RT Driver, all unpunched in mint condition for 800 dollars, which is not that bad when u realize that people on ebay is asking between 800-1200k for just an unpunched Ahsoka.
be honest, the "repacks" aren't even really repacks. If you compare the figures there's more movable joints on the new figures, the legs are more spaced out like they're trying to poop standing up, and there's way too much detail for the "reboot" vintage figures to even compare. Personally, vintage (to me) means pre 1987, maybe up to 1990. I can understand how some in their 20s might think vintage is 18 years ago, but it's not. Vintage classifies as older than "classic" and classic typically refers to something 25 yrs old or older
the figure line is called "the vintage collection," i personally am not referring to anything as "vintage". the "repacks" are called "repack waves" by hasbro, and they are not "repacks" of the kenner figures released from 1977-85, but are "repacks" of the original release of the figure line called "the vintage collection" released from 2009-2013. and no, sometimes the "repacks" of the original TVC line only have minor updates, ie new paint apps, and are generally the same exact figure released from 2009-2013 and dont have more moveable joints. and who is in their 20s? I wish i was.
"Look at her tryin to kill somebody..." Anakin would be so proud. And BTX, circa 24 days after this video was posted, the Slave Leia 4" figure is now $220 at Ebay.
Most of these, I never even saw on the pegs. I did get TVC Nikto on ebay for $55 right before he went a lot higher. Love the Vintage Collection but i'm very selective, just like The Black Series
I remember buying a sealed case with the vintage collection final wave that has your top 3 for $90.00 at Entertainment Earth and i sold Ahsoka for $20.00 .
I wish we could go back cause I miss buying 3.75 figs. But when it's about 15 bucks for some I already have the old versions of why would I buy one when I can get a 6 inch one for 20. They are way too expensive
I had every single last one of these. I even had a dozen of the Republic Trooper. (Yes, I was an army builder and I wanted to put that scene together.) Sucks to have your ex-girlfriend sell all your stuff when you're locked up. Sad part was she sold it all way too cheap.😑 Whoever got eight of those Republic Troopers for 10 bucks a piece off of Facebook Marketplace, I hope you're really enjoying them.
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE Yep. I try not to look back, sort of 'let the past bury its dead' kinda thing. If I listed everything that I lost while I was on the inside, some guys on here might jump off a roof.😶 I'm not even going to get into the Legacy/EU Comic packs stuff.(Yep, more heartbreak.😒)
The clone troopers for the vc collection were probably the best, but damn sometimes if a figure had a removable helmet that helmet could look really big.
Disney will probably allow a new Slave Leia figure to be made. I think now it will be renamed Huttslayer Leia to appease a dad, who wasn't a Star Wars fan, who was afraid his daughter would want one.
Lol all the figures I have from this video are opened. Well, I was a kid, how wouldn’t I? Who am I kidding, I’d still open them these days just to play with them again
In my country all of the figures you showed here are about twice the price you say, and another 2 figures that are expensive as hell are dengar and grievous
Does any body know..... I found ahsoka on ebay for around 500 but the age in the top left is spelt different and some times the back of the card is different. Does this mean they are not as rare. Im very new to this.
Damn, I kept all my old star wars figures out of nostalgia and then started collecting sideshow collectibles instead, I have the starkiller figure still and I also have the lords of the sith Darth Vader sideshow signed by David prowse but one of the hand accessories is broken so probably won't be worth much now
@@CANTKILLCHEWIE good point I didn't think of that thanks, I will see if I can find the accessory online and then probably hold on to the piece until the time is right or who knows I might just keep it😂
