I always binge your series whenever I am getting back into starbound. Just got back into today and decided to check you channel again and to my surprise I find you finally started a new series! Totally going to binge this haha :) Seriously though huge Props for staying with your last save for 3yrs!
Long term goals (mostly building). 1. Build an aestheticly pleasing main base that both functional and decorative. It houses everything you need and have rooms/areas exclusively exist to make the base look nice i.e. small gardens, chill area. 2. Build an automated ancient essence farm via soulleaf plant for equipment upgrades. This requires you to build organic soup and essentia obscura production on toxic and atropus sea world respectively. (Bonus points for prettiness). 3. Get master manipulator, excellent equipments and complete delta freya II. Also building a farm solely for research/money production can help a lot. Your choice, do what u see fit ❤
I got so far behind on the last season due to life I just didn't have the time to catch up lol. This is a perfect opportunity for me to get back into it!
God I hope one day a spiritual successor or a proper sequel comes out It sucks the devs never open sourced the game or someone picked up where they left off
Hey dude I enjoyed your last series and I'd like to thank you for the follow through as man people leave series half way in. When I watch your videos I dont see the studdering and little freezes I get when I play. Is that a product of editing or do you just not have that issue?
There are a couple mods that will help with frame rate but ultimately the game isn’t optimised very well so most people suffer with it. Playing the game in 32bit will help with the memory leaks it suffers from though.
Right now I started a new playthough, main goals is complete all the quests (main and tricorder), full research tree, and have at least one planet turned into a colony world (barren or ocean base... I haven't decided yet) and maybe a station base
Definitely had fun with all three types of base. In the end I think having a fully outfitted space station was fun but farming all the gold and titanium was a real chore, those huge habitat modules that are big enough to grow trees are a little pricey. I think my BYO Spaceship was also enormous, basically three screens wide and two screens tall.
