I genuinely miss being a barista, even when it was busy af and people were terrible, there’s just something about making people drinks that’s monotonous and calming and it brings joy to other people. Lowkey just wanna drop out of college and work at a coffee shop half the time lmao
I watched these types of videos right before I started working at starbucks. I was so anxious!!! I had no idea what to expect. Half a year later, I'm here again. Now I'm counting the syrup pumps with you, analyzing how you hold bottles, and noticing how we do some things differently (loved your technique with the matcha btw). These videos definitely hit different as a barista. You're killin' it!

As a person who started drinking coffee since i was 12yo,and still enjoying the taste, being a Starbucks barista is a dream for me, i wanna make ppl enjoy their own coffee the same way i enjoy it. I start watching those videos to practice before applying to the job, And im glad your video is the best one I’ve ever watched
I work at a Starbucks and am dying to make videos like this but we are located in a business area near all the google buildings so the mornings are busy as hell and Customers would never get their drinks if I did this LOL
as someone who’s just started working at a Starbucks, I would say there’s nothing to worry about when it comes to mixing drinks or messing up when you’re first starting. they even expect you to mess up! just as long as you know what happened and how to improve. i would also say that working at Starbucks, depending on your area and which store it is, it does require some extroverted skills when it comes to talking to customers and creating “customer connections,” as the company loves to push it as. Starbucks is all about creating a welcoming environment for people to enjoy coffee and relax, and that includes getting to know your customers and who your regulars are. all in all, there’s plenty of different jobs and things you can do while working at Starbucks, and if you find that you excel in areas with least customer connections, such as cold bar or hot bar, then that’s great too! in all honesty, Starbucks is quite literally just another fast food job, depending on which location you work at. it can become just as stressful as working at a chick fil a, but there are definitely unique locations that perhaps do have more of a formal, calmer customer demographic rather than more jam packed ones, like the one I work at that’s smack dab right in the middle of a busy intersection under a highway lmao.

She said it’s venti iced matcha tea latte with 6 full pumps of the brown sugar syrup or 12 half pumps of the brown sugar sugar syrup and salted caramel cold foam

Is this staged? I'm guessing so bc there's no stickers on the drinks & no one in the drive thru. If not, you can get fired for filming during work. It's against their policy & they're strict abt it.

they do and the venti vanilla latte in the beginning should’ve had 6 pumps not 5 cause venti iced gets an extra pump buuut maybe ppl ordered them with modifications

I only clicked bc it had a matcha drink in the thumbnail!. I never drink Starbucks so when I ordered a matcha for the first time I didn’t know what to say or how to order (I do t like coffee) And it was plain and not good (my excitement turned into disappointment). But now I’ll remember that recipe for the brown sugar matcha

Your pumpkin spice and white mocha pump is wrong 😢it's supposed to be in a metal pump, yours is dispensing 2x the amount there should be 😢 Also, your mocha for frappuccinos should say CBS pump. If not, you only do half the amount, so you also gave them 2x the amount of mocha 😢 Those drinks are going to be way too sweet D:
Hello i have an sb related question since bago lang ako mag sb haha. My favourite drink to go is pumpkin spiced latte pero pag wala sa menu nung branch na napupuntahan ko, hindi ko inoorder. Pede ba orderin yon sa lahat ng branch basta sabihin ko lang yunh drink of choice ko? 😅
While watching this I'm just debating between aesthetics vs standards. I see a black apron, so you're most likely older partner while lots of knowledge. But for the video you do everything on top of ice. Iced coffee milk is before the ice so you can measure how much goes in. And for fraps and shaken, measurements are done on top of ice. Not sure if that pumpkin spice pump is correct as you dont show it, double cupping, and dont show cross hash of cm 😢. Nonetheless followed to see and get ideas. It is pleasing to watch and relaxing. Good stuff.
