Hi you little dollop of cookie butter!!
I hope that you're doing so well, and are enjoying the beginning of what's about to be fall!!!! I'm obviously very stoked on it.
This week we tried the #Starbucks fall offerings versus the #CoffeeBeanandTeaLeaf fall offerings! And boy oh boy was I living my best life. Not being too much of a #pumpkinspice gal myself... I was pleasantly surprised!!

C: I had the apple crisp macchiato and LOVED it. I just get 2 pumps of the apple syrup so it's a little less bath and body works candle tasting.

Starbucks NITRO cold brew has no ice, whereas regular cold brew should have it. Also yes the pumpkin loaf was in a bag just like the coffee bean one 😂

What’s everyone’s favorite drink at places like Starbucks, Dunkin, Krispy Kreme, etc.. has to be SWEET and not bitter tasting!! I need a new drink to try in the morning lol My personal favorite is Krispy Kreme’s caramel frappe with extra caramel & whipped cream on top! Sweet and delicious😋

As someone who worked at Starbucks the only correct reason I can see you getting no ice in your cold brew is if you order a Nitro Cold brew, if you order a regular cold brew and it doesn’t have any ice that just means the barista decided you’re not getting any 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

@@irenewalton former barista here too, the nitro cold brew is infused with liquid nitrogen, (that's why it has that layer of foam on top, like a guiness) so it's already cold (: it's pretty good, also just a it is, with nothing added, the process also makes it sweeter! Sometimes, some people order it with ice, but it takes away from the flow, and waters it down some.

@@irenewalton when you get the nitro cold brew adding ice would take away from the infused nitrogen, which would distract from the mouthfeel (smoothness) you would otherwise get when there is no ice.

There’s no coffee bean in Canada, but there is Starbucks and I tried the apple macchiato right away and was very disappointed even though I don’t know what I was expecting.

Girrrrl. If I could recommend ANYTHING from Starbucks for fall…if you like chai I HIGHLY recommend: iced chai latte with oat milk. Add brown sugar and top it with the pumpkin cold foam. It’s the absolute best thing I’ve ever had. It’s like fall in a cup.

you should try guessing the brand by having someone put them in unmarked cups. Add Dunkin to your comparisons too. We don’t have Coffee Bean in Pittsburgh.

Nitro cold brew doesn’t get ice, regular does. So unless you say nitro you should get ice. Also I you should have gotten the pumpkin cream cheese muffin!!! Warmed is so good!

Love you Mrs. Rene❤️ Ex starbucks employee here, most the time if theirs no ice it’s the nitro cold brew, nitro is stronger and it comes out a pressurized keg so is already chilled, no need for ice! normal cold brew should be coming with ice per the starbucks official recipe, it did not come out of a keg and is stored at room temp or refrigerated temp, definitely needs some ice to make it the temperature most prefer, but it’s an understandable mistake to forget the ice on occasion🤷‍♀️

Starbucks assistant store manager here... if you order a Nitro cold brew it should never come with ice, if you order a regular cold brew it should always come with ice. hope that helps :)

Starbucks barista here 👋🏻 only reason you wouldn’t get ice in a cold brew is if you get a nitro cold brew! The nitrogen makes it smoother and creamier without adding any dairy and keeps it cold hence why we don’t serve it with ice! It’s also more caffeinated than our regular cold brew! I’m surprised you liked the apple crisp 😂 my coworkers and I all hate it and think it tastes like a candle 😂

Honestly my PSL order makes me feel insane. Small, hot, oak milk, only one pump of pumpkin (so it's not too sweet) and an extra shot of espresso. As is they are too sweet.

Nitro cold brew is meant to be without ice. Regular brewed cold brew comes with ice. Nitro is made with nitrogen, which makes it smoother. I think it’s served without ice because ice kinda breaks that smooth texture! You should do a review of the nitro cold brew vs. just the average cold brew! 🧡🍁🍂

So the answer to the cold brew question is it depends on the time of day you order. At starvucks the cold brew is made the night before and is put in pitchers with ice in the morning. And those pitchers go in the fridge. The ice melts throughout the day. And if we add more ice it can really water the coffee down

I took my car to Honda on Santa Monica the other day for an oil change and then walked to Starbucks scrolling the app for what to order and got the pumpkin cold foam cold brew and it was the best thing ever. Totally worth the more than $5, and yes I licked the bottom of the lid to get every bit of the cold foam

I'm so confused as to why people say Starbucks has no flavoring 😂😂 maybe I'm getting lucky with the baristas that make my drinks cause they have so much flavor. I loveeee the pumpkin cream cold brew and apple crisp macchiato. I also started doing an iced vanilla Chai latte with oatmilk and the pumpkin cream 😍😍😍

You hit the nail on the head about the pumpkin cream cold brew- I am a strict half and half only in my coffee kind of babe but I LOVE that drink for the reasons you mentioned- not too sweet and well balanced :)

irene- if u wanna feel fall, put pumpkin spice spice (from like trader joes or smthing) and add it to your coffee grounds when you make coffee- and add a lot so it comes through, my mom did it every fall and i have taken it on and i always feel warm and cozy every time it's delightful 🧡🍂🍁
