Gotta bring out the dark archons if someone masses capital ships. There's a mission in the brood war campaign where that's literally how you're supposed to fight it, just take all the enemy carriers. You have to mass shield batteries though because they expend their shields when they cast mind control, but even if you lose every dark archon it's still cost-effective if they each took a battlecruiser since dark archon is not only cheaper than BC, but you get the BC. Not to mention you can just teleport the BCs right back to the enemy...

Next level is combining it with defensive matrix then you could melt those hydras after too (tho running away is fine too). As for leaning on baneling vs sc1 terran. I mean, you could. But firebats are the same cost as a baneling. Just saying. Roaches and ravagers are a better idea IMO since you don't have marauders or banshees.

To the guy who asked if scout or wraith is worse: 1. Scout is roughly 50% more expensive than Wraith (in supply too). 25% more gas, but almost 2x mineral cost. 2. Wraith has Cloak 3. They have the same ground DPS 4. Scout has 50% more air DPS 5. Scout has a bit more than 2x HP (including shield) 6. Wraith has higher movement speed 7. Wraith has 1 more range Scouts are better in straight up air fights and around on par vs ground (worse dps vs ground but better HP when you take cost into account). Wraiths are cheaper, has cloak, move faster and has slightly more range. They're both very, very good against air (wraiths out dps goliaths vs air, especially when you take armor into account). And quite lackluster vs ground (where their only purpose really is to kill workers and otherwise give your opponent tickles).
