Their one cool ass unit, but I find it hard to believe that they're ancient war machines that were abandoned or discontinued. If they were in the brood war era, why TF weren't they used?

I will never understand the design choice of the protoss architects here "Okay so let's make this giant walker and put these two lasers on him. He'll be huge and intimidating but super clunky and easy to hit" Like, where is the redeeming quality in this, why couldn't this be made an aircraft or just like, smaller? This is an actual AT-AT
