I can only imagine how satisfying it must have been at the end of this run to just steamroll Arcturus' armies with a horde of Torrasques. The payoff for that struggle is real! I also like the idea of going back and seeing what levels you can beat with just workers. The Kaldir missions seem like tutorial levels, honestly, so it's not surprising that you were able to beat them with just static defense. Not sure if I'd recommend any of the later ones though, except The Crucible. :p (I always do Char last out of the first three planets. I dunno, it just feels more natural that way.)
I'm really glad someone out there went through the actual fucking agony that is using swarm hosts outside of multiplayer. I always felt bad for never using them since they seem so interesting but my gut told me they'd be dogshit. And MAN, are they dogshit!
Are the framerate drops a byproduct of your recording software or do you actually play like that? Some of the lag spikes I see in your video look absolutely painful
Hmm... I'd need to do some testing honestly. I haven't played much on this computer without recording, so I'm not really sure if its the additional burden of recording or if my computer is just struggling. Its manageable, but yeah, its not ideal. I vaguely recall playing multiplayer SC2 was incredibly annoying, with singleplayer I don't mind as much because its a less intense experience. However, this was played on a different computer than the one I currently have, so it might be different now.
I'm glad you're enjoying it! I think this video is a bit less polished than my WC3 series, so I focused on that series instead. Maybe I'll come back to the protoss campaign at some point though!
Hopefully! Probably will be a bit because I wanna get through the wc3 campaigns first, but eventually I may revisit this for LOTV! I've currently started it, and am struggling hard on 'only training sentries on sky shield'

Anyway I play wol bc I don’t have hots lotv nco I play on normal in all in Zerg overwhelm my forces only battlecruiser and scv left I moved to xel’naga artifacts and to repair my scv and battlecruiser and I won my heart just pounding and I didn’t get hots😕
