I always wondered why this Fenix accepts the Dark Templar so easily. He and the Khalai Protoss were still hostile against them when he was first slain at Antioch, and he has no personal recollection of the events that happened after that. Rohana, for example, continuously expresses her distrust of them.
zeratul61 This Fenix never went against the will of the Conclave. He had died (had been seriously wounded) before the real confrontation between Tassadar and the Conclave actually began. Beside that he has another line where he tells you that he followed Aldaris' orders in his new Purifier form unquestioningly (including to be sent to Cybros to be deactivated).
Fenix was never hostile to the Dark Templar. However, when they disappeared in the orginal series he only voiced that that perhaps our trust was placed in the wrong hands
Fenix has an open mind to such things. He's never mentioned anything ill towards the Dark Templar. Also, it is possible he was caught up by Karax when he first woke. He most likely noticed his and Artanis' severed nerve cords and possibly that he can't connect with anyone with the khala being a machine.
i do like hte fact as this fenix is before living fenix ever met jim raynor yet he viewed records and accepted him very easily despite protoss belief in the first game but its a damn shame purifier fenix isnt in heroes of hte storm as a melee tank
its considered treason (or some shite) to make contact with "under evolve" aliens as whats her name had a problem with artanis making friends with jim raynor when she was in stasis, however artanis shut her up when he mentioned that jim fought valiantly for helping the refugees of auir and some other prejudices mostly in the conclave in some of the novels, there might be other things but i dont remember, after the epilogue i sort of got tired
Tucher97 I haven't finished the Protoss saga myself, stop where the engineer took charge of a place defence. Dunno when I'm gonna finish it. So many other games to finish to upload. :)
@@auric180 Aldaris: Who is this human, Tassadar? Raynor: The name's Jim Raynor, pal. And I won't be talked down to by anybody. Not even a protoss. Aldaris: Amusing. Tassadar, your taste in companions grows ever more inexplicable. In other words, out of all the company you've kept, this is the worst.
@@auric180 Even Rohana made a remark that the khalai law forbids interaction with lesser species and criticized terrans for not communicating telepathically.
I think it's a glitch in the campaign. I had similar issues on Slayn. I remember it quite well. I complete 'Steps of the Rite'; Artanis: I am going to make one thing clear... *cinematic ends*
