31:16 Dark may have caught a mismicro of the Thors but the ghosts took out all the broods at the same time!

17:20 I love how he managed to kill the marines whilst killing his own queen. He's being quite efficient in terms of damage dealing.

My god Dark, you monster. The way you he moves his infestors and the broodlords is simply insane. I would take notes for fighting late game terran, but it would be worthless, no human being can replicate that micro.

Lowko is basically my only source of StarCraft cast.

Lowko was focusing so much on the thors getting killed he didn't look at the ghosts just slaughtering the brood lords.

Dark, making infestors look OP af. Tho I think his best move was taking the extra base in the south and mining more than half of it before losing it and ofc he then repeated that again up north. Love it.

I never played this game, but i have been watching your casting of this game for last year. I love watching it and listening your cast even tho I never played this game.

I wonder if Byun's passive approach is because Dark was so intent on being aggressive with a high supply count of roach ravager. Either shellshocked Byun or made it seem like all Byun needed to do was turtle until Dark ran out. But Dark never did, it wasn't an all-in, and I guess the 1-1 timing attack did enough damage to give him breathing room to set up for the longer haul

Haven't watched any SC2 casting since TB (rip). but last week youtube just suddenly recommended one of your videos and now i put on one every night as i go to bed

This match was crazy fun to watch. This 2 guys are insane. And Lowko always makes it fun.

i like Byun forgoing Siege Tanks later on. Dark seems to turn em around vs allied units with the splash they are distributing on the Broodlings (massive friendly fire).

This game came down to queens still being the most OP and versatile unit in the game. That last battle was won by queens. 50 minutes in to the game, units that were made at the very start of the game are still super useful - Super useful early game - Super useful mid game - Super useful late game - Instaheal - Slow continuous heal - Very high range (If not as high as ever) - Quite tanky overall - Cheap - Low supply cost I never understood how this unit has barely ever been nerfed.

Hey Lowko. Fascinated by the idea of high level players 'accidentally losing' games. Any chance of a video highlighting this concept? I'd love to see some of these amazing players proving that, despite their three hands, pro gamers can still be human.

One thing the terran might have considered is just mass mule dropping the zerg expos in the late game. Even if the minerals don't make it back, it still takes them away from zerg.

This cast makes me realize the AAA caster that Lowko is. The inflection of his voice while talking about his cat still provided great information about what was happening in the game.

I'll be honest, I only watch your casts of SC2. I love your style and don't want to ruin any other match with someone else's cast before seeing yours!

Holy cow, those fungals at the end there! Dark is just too scary with his micro. Who knew all spell casters would be the key to victory against the Terran?

The Intro

Missile upgrades falling off? What? Roach Ravager into Hydra Lurker Viper has been a staple Zerg strategy for a long time now. Admittedly not the most common one recently but still a very viable strategy that's been used time and time again... Especially now with the buff to hydras this strategy should only be stronger, not weaker.

loool . i was watching a wc3 video and I have not played sc2 in a while but i heard a similar intro to yours and i was like wow this reminds me of lowko and then i wanted to refresh my memory and actually picked a video where u still did the intro what are the odds.

That nuke could have came in clutch for zoning in that last battle.

Why did he didn't made a few Vikings for the brute lords? Like 4-6 were all that we needed to push back then and dark didn't had vipers for a long time?

Was surprised to see a macro game from ByuN and how elegant and beautifully if was played by him. Especially in the first part of the match.

Besides allowing Dark to drone up, Byun's early game expansion also allowed Dark to rapidly extend the creep coverage, which really helped shut down ByuN's first timing attack.

Well, you pretty much are my only source of starcraft 2 content xD I don't even play myself anymore. Played a couple of games, got stressed pretty badly, continued watching your casts ... Way more enjoyable :D

Those lost Thors had costed Byun this game. Those games come down to the wire in the end.

The endgame was actually pretty close to a draw. Dark did not have a spire or a corruptor and maybe only barely enough gas left on the map to make one and a mutalisk to hunt down a flying building in a corner.

That was brutal!!!! Quite impressive Dark's micro on so many spell casters

I rarely watch SC2 anymore, but when I do its Lowko. Love these drawn out matches but seems that always Zerg come out on top in these cases. I wonder if most of comment section are Zerg fans here because for me it seemed like Terran was barely holding in game for quite a while and it was impressive to see the player to hold on as long as he did. For me it seems like no race has answer for Zerg late game AOE and splash effects when Zerg army is controlled by best Zerg players. I wonder if it would make a huge difference if Nukes would still land even if ghost is destroyed after initial aiming to time. In flight time still leaves plenty of time for enemy to evacuate, but if you could guarantee a hit more easily it would increase area control effect of the Nuke.

Truthfully you and Uthermal got me curious about watching it, I rarely watch esports much less SC2

the only problem I could see here is that the broodlords with the new speed can out maneuver Thors even easier and it is even less punishing if they are out of position

Woo! Classic intro! I expected a BO3 going into this one... Also, zerg spellcasters are still too strong. Fungal Growth does WAY too much in one spell: damage, slow, reveal. Neural Parasite is still too powerful in large engagements and should require the Infestor to get closer; they are still way too safe. At very high levels of play, late-game Terran is lackluster at best. It really lacks pushing power into things like Infestor + Brood Lord and Carriers + Immortals.

Dark is hands down my favorite player to watch. I don't think anyone else does strategy, inventiveness, and execution as well as he does at the highest level. Byun is looking very dangerous as well having seemed to knock it up a notch in the past month or two and it will be a great IEM to watch!

Really great game. Complete mine-out and wind down to the bitter end.

I watch Lowko exclusively and after couple of years I started playing got to platinum with terran, then I had a break returned after a year got totally destroyed...

I frequently bounce between silver and gold. My games usually last either 2 minutes or 2 hours. LoL :P

my favorite games are either something stupid, like losing to cannon / spine crawler rush, or super long games where everything gets mined out and armies destroyed, so both players have to go back to tier 1/1.5 units. those are great

At 31:17 Byun snipes all of Dark's BL's making the Thor loss even. Also why didn't Byun use that nuke in the final engagement at the end? It would have forced Dark to clear out with less trouble. Wouldn't have solved the Viper problem but.. still.
