Something I could notice is that you must commit to the chargelots, if not, and the enemy recovers, you wouldn't have enough economy in order to have a follow up, but well, it's an all-inn, so you won't expect a third. If you don't commit, going for a third before attacking, then the attack would hit a bit late, like 15 seconds late, and that will make a huge difference, specially if they have a counter to the prism. If you commit, you can cross the map and arrive around 4.40 at the enemy base, and warp the zealots easily. Then just poke here and there with additional zealots, while you make a third follow up, or tech up, depending on the scenario, which usually is a GG, and you should keep commiting until the enemy dies. I personally like to tech up with DTs, warp them at my base, specially if I lost the prism, and poke with DTs at different bases, since they wouldn't expect a DT attack after the previous cheesy chargelots. There're so many things that migh happen, depending on the opponent's experience, that you can do miracles with this build, specially if you hit early.

Yea, unlike other timings, this build in particular feels a lot more comitted, so better hope you manage to #outplay your opponent with it, if u dont wanna lose 20 mmr :)

Thanks for this build order! I cant micro well but have had a lot of success with this. Almost took out a terran 1k mmr above me loll

Yea it's a crazy build, there are a few hard counters to it that are pretty tilting, but back when I used to play it gave me lots of huge wins (I think the highest terran that died to it was around 6.2k at the time :D )

@@WhiteShadow322 wow 6.2k! I find that I have died to fast tank/lib pushes sieging my nat before I move out. Do you have any advice scouting/reacting to that?

@@Fimbu1vetr most tank/lib pushes that kill you hit early as hell (1 base type of stuff) if done right, wayy before charge kicks in, so you would have to just recognize (scout double gas, see factory first before CC, send adept shade in for as long as you can, etc) and adapt into whatever response you have for that (in my case, it used to be a bunch of stalkers, while researching blink, with a bunch of shield batteries, and in a perfect world, catching the opponent out on the map before he sieges up. buy as much time before A-moving with zealots :D

​@@Fimbu1vetr 99% sure that was just a macro mistake on my part and forgot to make those extra gates, so I made zealots in the meantime to compensate ahah

back when i made this video, it was definitely better than proxy void ray in my opinion, but in its current state, Proxy voids is 100x better

I am going to try this, thank you. I came back to sc2 after a year and I keep losing to terran players. They go heavy turtle style with bunkers on low and high ground by 5 min mark, tanks and turrets on every turn. Currently at D2.

The replay used to showcase the build has been played on the current patch ^_^ still use it just as well as before. same thing for my phoenix chargelot build :D

@@WhiteShadow322 Oh wow i thought the zealots move way to slow :O Nice! One thought though - we don't need so much gas for this build right? Why not go for a gas steal and delay our second gas for a couple of seconds (and the nexus aswell, but we could go gate core nexus)? This would reduce the chances to run into a raven by a lot

@@RandyOrton92 gas steal is almost never worth it tbh, and raven openers arent that scary. Banshees on the other hand, are. That gas is also so you dont straight up die to them, thus making the build a tad less coinflippy. And finally, zealots' speed got buffed, they just lost some of their burst dmg, but theyre still good at flooding terran at that stage of the game

Yeah the only difference is that you don't get that additional 8 initial damage, zealots nowadays are also alot faster though so even when charge is not on cooldown you can close the distance to their units much quicker and because this style is much more rare nowadays people dont expect it or prepare for it so you should be able to do quite well with this

i mean if ur more comfortable with the reaper defense when going core first, go for it, honestly, in 99% of our ladder games, the difference in eco/efficiency isnt really big of a deal enough where it would change the outcome of the game, theres some minor variations you can do with pretty much every build. im just used to going nexus first, so thats why i did it this game, but the other option is also on the table.

@@danielaliff5622 the wall isnt a full wall, theres a gap for ur units to go through, and you dont get immortals with this build. Even if you did, you have a warp prism to help

Nice build! What are (in your experience) builds that counter this? Ive been trying this out in pvt and pvp (platinum player, it works in pvp so far).

Thanks! Imo, against terran, theres a couple of "builds/openers" that could counter this or make it harder to win. Banshee openers can be quite deadly since often you wont have any AA defense back at home, although i guess at a lower level, throwing in a forge and a cannon in each mineral line prolly wont be the end of the world, and will prolly also pay off in case of a banshee opener. Hellion drop opener could also screw up everything as it will put you in even more of an allin position in case you have to base race/eco race against the terran. 3Rax where your opponent doesnt go across the map (which isnt supposed to really happen, but some players still do it) could also crush it. In PvP, it shouldnt work too well, since archons and shield batteries or force fields can pretty much hard counter it unless you hit a very specific timing. Its also pretty easy to scout. If youre looking for a different variation of the chargelot allin, I might make a guide on the one I've been using myself these past months with very high winrate as well, we'll see soon enough ^_^
