or better yet, has mixed wave of DT and zealots. The enemy already expect *either* DT or Zealots, so if he made an army of both he could potentially slips the DT past the main army.

An "Artosis pylon" is a pylon that is the only pylon power multiple important structures. A "Tasteless pylon" is a replacement pylon for an Artosis pylon that finishes building approximately when the Artosis pylon is destroyed.

Lowko pls, i started cringing when the Protoss made all that structures on the other side of the map when he could've made the warp gates at home and used the pylons to warp in all the units..... But the mass warp in was cool though.... Alright it was Awesome, "Today, we reclaim our homeland, and with it our LEGACY" .....

I don't even play ranked, but I would like to think I could do better than this toss. The sheer amount of unused minerals for so long has hurt my soul. And as far as not attacking after breaking the contain, think about it. This toss should have WAY more minerals than what he has put there by now. For all the Terran knows, the Golden Armada is just outside his base. And for all the minerals the toss had, it should have been.

The funny thing is, and not trying to be rude or anything, once you actually start playing ladder it's not uncommon to realise that you make alot of mistakes while under pressure. I remember watching a bronze league match and thinking 'How could I ever be that bad?' and I proceeded to get pummelled.

I think even when not watching other players you can come up with this kind of strategy by yourself and see that you could take a base right next to the Terran and you just need to make a couple of canon to contain the Terran while continuing to expand your bases with this huge amount of resources you have and a whole lot other things he could have done.

sometimes i do the same thing this protoss did - i hear a little lowko in my ear that says ' if you just build all army with your resources and attack moved into the enemy you would win ' and then i do

This Terran playstyle is very common in Silver and Gold. I play Protoss and just reached P3 and yes, I cheese a lot but even when my cheeses failed, most Terrans don't really capitalize their lead and just stay at home. I would just expand towards a 3rd (and later 4th base) and then just go Skytoss which most lower leagues players don't really know how to counter.

I loved it! A warp prism would have been game ending with the first 7 gateways start. Sometimes is funnier to watch lower leagues matches rather than gm's just because of the variety and creativity of the players

i loved doing something similar in brood war. i would send in some suicide squads to knock out the detection in a given area, then flood it with a dozen or so DTs. everything would die very rapidly and my opponent would rush out some detection in the area. either he got there in time and i sent out another suicide squad to knock out that detection before i lost all the DTs, or he was too late. it doesn't work well for defense, and good enough defense to protect the detection will stop the strat, but it is pretty fun when it works.

well gateways do have the advantage that your units being built aren't targetable, but I agree that maybe a change should be done to the warpgate upgrade.
