Jaded, cynical journos will call them derivative but, growing up where they did, this sort of music is in Starcrawler's DNA. They can't escape it, so they've embraced it. Hope they keep going.
@@happydace4866 FACTS... but stating American as the US in a long while hasn't produced great rock and roll so very good to see young Silverlake LA smashing it!!!
I knew they had something special when i first saw I Love LA.. the second album is slicker than the first and they are a force live. They need to bring in Alan Moulder or Butch Vig for album three. Their sound perfectly matches those elite producers.
Agree entirely Nick ! Im 70 next year and was banging my head to the birth of Sabbath Zepplin Purple the lot . Nobody has reproduced that era ..... until now! Freaking awesome !!
The "Perfect Band": Solid musicians. Great songs, they have the early 70's punk vibe. Ramones. Stooges. The Cramps. And the frontman is a hot chick that embodies Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper and.......Tina Turner! Nothing but great things to say about them.
This band makes my Gen-X soul happy. Real rock n roll. no fucking protools crap. Hoping there's a tour on the way (and that they'll let old guys attend).
@@DirtyMike1 Not really. Objectively, I don't hear what is so inventive about the band. And there's nothing wrong with that. It doesn't mean they aren't a good band. Bands needn't re invent the wheel to be a good band.
I know f"*king rock stars when I f"*king see um! Better get on board now, they'll be bigger than the Stone's~ Starcrawler blasting their magic into the sratogasmicsphere~ \~~~💖~~~/, Rich taste? Me 2 that's why I'm here!
Good garage rock/proto punk from very photogenic people. I get it, I was into that shit when I was young. If this your scene check out; Bad Cop Bad Cop and the BombPops.
Hey Starcrawler. Been a fan for awhile. I was raised on Alice Cooper and you guys resemble them. I think you can be bigger and better by writing an album like Love it to Death. That was the musical jump AC took to get notoriety or attention. You guys/Arrow have all the parts. Godspeed to you...
