Much respect to the interviewer for staying professional and recognizing that these kids are still very young and very new at being in the public eye. Cool host, cool band, relaxed and funny interview. Thank you!!
Despite my own comment on this video _("Chill dude. They didn't say they don't like New Yorkers, lols."),_ I'd have to agree that he was quite good and has my respect as well for being so thoughtful.
@@aylbdrmadison1051 LA lifestyle compared to NY lifestyle is like night and day. In no way, shape or form did you come off like hating New Yorkers. You truly kick ass and I hope your band stays around for decades to come!!
I just discovered this band. They are younger than my children and blow me away. I haven't been this excited to buy a new album in years. Stay true, comrades.
@@chrism6446 What's weird about it? It's an observational quote. He's the one who made the comment and I just followed up on the quote. You do realize you can do that right? You can make a comment or an observation on someone's comment or observation. He's capable of commenting on my observation if he wants. What's it to you?
You can tell they're very new to this, loved how down to earth this interviewer is and how cool the interview was. I was blessed to see them live, they're fucking amazing- such nice sound!
@Almark : They never stopped making good music, you just stopped finding the good stuff until now. But then older people never stopped either. Why all the ageism in here? @Connor J. Finlayson : Ageism is no different than racism. Get with the times, and don't let a number keep you in the dark.
Connor J. Finlayson Pseudo garage rock? No thanks. Nothing creative from this generation - just a rehash from all the old stuff that people already did and executed. This act is nothing more than forced.
I'm pretty psyched to love a new band. Finally! And everyone shut up about Arrow's body already. It's not her job to raise other people's kids. It's her job to just be herself. No one complained about David Bowie or Joey Ramone being skinny, but women have to be perfect role models or else.
They’re not doing anything impressive. It’s easy to copy sound from the past. Musicians have no originality, and people are so bored, that we’ll listen to whatever rock they give us. This is why rock is dead. Just a flavor of the week, they’ll fade away within five years. That the longevity of copy cat music.
MrGerthBrooks she’s not popular enough for anybody wanting to be her. And she looks like some heroine junky. Who the fuck want to look like a junky. Or is that what passes for beauty nowadays.
I think this band is like a band of fresh air. So nice to hear a gifted band play awesome songs. The band is up and coming more and more. I hope to see them one day in real.
And you support the pedos in Hollyweird who promote this satanic garbage. They should call themselves star fuckers but they settled with star crawlers since no one can understand witch language for themselves and hop onto the sin and filth bandwagon. Wilde is a chick with a dick that spits on HIS audience and then hides behind the security guard after the show when the people want to beat their ass for spitting in their face. Great people to look up to. Their music is garbage. My 8 year old has written better shit than this band!
Wow, amazed at how young these kids are. They seem to still have their innocence. It's amazing how different Arrows persona is on stage. She's a good actress
@@kingofepicvlogs4666True, shy and introverted in real life, but on stage it's different as it's a rehearsed performance, whereas life throws up many awkward and unknown situations.
Amazing new band. Really hope they stick with it. It's been a long time since I've heard such damn good music! Reminds me of the great days of The Pixies, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Helmet back when rock was GOOD. I mean there was good rock before that. But the early 90's resonated with me because that's what was popular when I was young. I love 60s 70s 80s rock as well. But something about
you guys are really cool I like your music too been a long time since I heard a new band I could even tolerate, there's a couple out there but few are rock n' roll.. rock on people... TY
I love how chill they are...seems so opposite of the stage action :) I kinda figured it though...as a chill drummer myself, the rush and blood flow sets in on stage.
First new band I have liked in well over 20 years. Hope they come near me so I can go see them. I bet I would be the oldest guy in the crowd at 55 years old.
Yes! Actual kids playing kids music the way it's supposed to be. I loved the DJ's comment about boring indie rockers who better watch out. L.A. hasn't had a Alice Cooper/Doors band in years and they could be the ones.
Someone posted their set from a club in London - whoever you are, thank-you! I was delighted that a band so young had got it so right! They give hope to those of us who watched rock 'n' roll lose its "preferred genre" status in the music world. But if the kids are still diggin' it, we're all alright!
Say what you will..but I saw them open for Wayne Kramer. They fucking killed it. I cant remember being so memorized by an opening bands presence. Couldn’t take my eyes off them. Their sound is a love letter to a bygone era but with out being derivative of it. (ahem greta von fleet) I really look forward to seeing them evolve as a band. 🤘
When I lived in Hollywood, there were young bands who talked shit about older bands on the Strip but couldn't play or write. They were just entitled thanks to having rich mommies and daddies. These guys are young, but they're legit. One of my favorite new bands.
Just stumbled across Starcrawler - good music and excellent videos. Was surprised how laid back and polite they are. You would figure they would be rude, loud and yell F that and F this all the time. Maybe there is hope?
These kids are saving real rock and roll. And BRAVO to Henri for stating he hated NY! Young people are honest and unvarnished by Tha Corporation. It is refreshing, actually. He didn't intend any disrespect to Noo Yawkaz...he was simply stating his feeings.
The summed up NY and LA for me. When I lived in NYC it turned me into a neurotic, espresso drinking, fast paced person, which I hated. When I moved to LA I was able to let my hair down and chill TF out. I Love LA!!!!!
I used to think it was weird reading some of this stuff along the lines of "tearing through the city kicking up rock and roll dust with the force of the Tasmanian Devil" and I'd be like "Man I just play drums."
Been watching Starcrawler today.... There is hope for Rock, Punk and Grunge again. They have the sound of the greats from each genre without being at all derivative. Glad no one is trying really hard to be Robert Plant, (Greta Van who?), or anyone other than themselves.. I've been around since the Ramones, Nirvana, Zeplin, Van Halen, Iggy Pop, the Stones, the Chili Peppers and many more were just arriving on the scene. Starcrawler has it going on like those that came, and blew up the scene before them. Really hope no one makes comparisons to Hole....that's just wrong.
What we need back in America again are new radio stations that showcase good rock&roll again. Clear channel has killed radio and keeps great new artists from airplay.
i saw them in boston. arrow and henri came up to me in the crowd at diff times...it was so much fun. i spoke with the band too...henri was so nice. he was much happier than he seems in this.
I've been to NY once and I was taken aback by the concrete jungle and fast pace. Henri's so young and also being from SoCal, I think its just a defensive response to being so overwhelmed by what the NY experience is. Henri was hanging out with his family behind us in line and he really is a nice guy.
why not? idiots like arianna grande get a lot of hype. its entertainment...no need to take it so seriously for anyone...if you like how it sounds...play it..
