Stardew Valley (1.6 Update) - Part 51 - It's a Bug Hunt! 

Darn you spirits. Elly might be drunk milking. My guess is all of the baits do the exact same in the crab pots. That was a special occasion that Jas was allowed out. Yay! Pickaxe back! Now you can work on that weekly task. :P You found the thing in town I mentioned a few videos ago (the thing I said you need an ax for). I think that thing you saw is a fish smoker. Me too, George. Me too. You could always come back tomorrow to grab those things. They'll still be there. :P Good Cornflakes! Goodbye money again. No more trees needed now. Nice, I don't think I ran into that book yet. It's -Reyn- Mine Time! By the time you see this, you'll probably already be done with this week, but I feel like the sewer bugs are a lot better than the mine bugs for completing this task. It's doable either way and you probably have enough time if you focus on it. The slime was like "I'm a bug! Hug me!" 1/3rd of the way there with 4 days left. You can do it! I decided to purchase a fish farm today. Also I found out that apparently removing walls and adding extra rooms now costs money - it was free in the previous versions. Still doesn't take any time, but I didn't want to spend the money right now on more than one. Afterwards, I decided to go check out that area in the quarry cave to see if there is anything over there. Besides stronger skeletons that can freeze you, there was nothing there. Afterwards, I actually cleaned up the quarry. Then I went near the spa to complete a secret note and then went home for the rest of the day. Nothing too exciting to talk about today. I finished setting up my second tree farm, just need to wait for next season for it to grow. Also spent time converting the winter melons into seeds. Went around completing some secret notes as well. Near the end of the day I went to the mines to collect resources. I think next time I play (played these two days ahead of time) I will work specifically on getting stone for staircases so that I can start upgrading my other tools to iridium.

Yup, cats will give you fish from time to time. They also can give you bat wings, which I'm sure will happen even if you don't have the bat cave but has some implications if you do :P. Also Cats are surprisingly effective bat hunters, recall one of my old cats bringing a dead one in once. Though I am of the opinion she found it already dead and brought it in, because she was 15 at the time and not exactly the most active.

You can get the greenhouse fully covered with 4 iridium and 8 regular sprinklers(the regular ones on the sides, but not in the dirt) Several episodes ago Auld "I think that should be about all the secret books" Game says "Oh you think so do you? AND you said that out loud? We will show you!" :D Auld kills a monster, staircase appears blocking his path. "Oh for crying out loud" Me smiling in sympathy

I'm tempted to leave the greenhouse slightly inefficient, especially as I've now planted ancient seed. I didn't have the greenhouse at the time of the Night Market so didn't buy any of the seeds there. I too did not notice any difference in catch when using the deluxe bait.... though I wish I'd remembered sooner that the crab pots in the river on my farm would have a different catch. I really want to watch your next episode.... but maybe watching near two hours is enough for tonight. Have a happy weekend.
