You can speed up your 48hr vendor refresh wait by going to a planet with a longer day cycle. A good example is Bessel III-b. The Bessel system is 16 lightyears from Alpha Centauri, roughly up and a bit to the left. It has a whopping 60hrs per UT hour. This also makes Bessel III-b overpowered for outpost farming strats. You wait just one hour and massive amounts of resources will be gathered.
You can further speed up the 48hrs by entering into a relevant hourly standard within the time relevant to the general rule, according to time zones based on such rules of time passage, within the said given hours of any such event. Regarding time passage, non-passage, slow passage or hours that pass according to what time any given moment is.
@@Kostadin_Arolski If you are on a planet with 2 UT hours per one local hour, then yes. If you are in space, station or ship, it's always UT. On Bessel III-b, 24 UT hrs is less than 30min local time. Bruh.
#4 you got time completely incorrect. You need to wait or rest 48 hours of UT time. Local time is irrelevant. All shop vendors (so not including the ship techs) work on a 48 hour refresh based on UT. The Den's local time is synced with Universal time (I think all space stations work are actually), so to have Marcel with Trade Authority refresh his stock (and his credits), you have to do 2 complete wait cycles on the station. In contrast, you could go to New Atlantis and visit the Trade Authority down in the well. Jemison (the planet that New Atlantis is on) spins slower than Earth does, so 1 local hour = 2.08333 hours of UT. So instead of waiting 2 full wait cycles at the bench inside the Trade Authority, you only have to wait 1 full wait cycle. The local time just gives us a standard 24 of wait or rest potential (makes it standard for the game mechanic). The game runs on UT.
Press space while flying to change to a Newtonian-flight model like with Elite Dangerous. If you use the wasd keys while in this mode you can drift or dodge.
Just as an addendum - you can’t do this unless you have the first rank of the Piloting skill. Whether a companion having the skill lets you do it instead of having the skill yourself, I don’t know.
You are correct. However, the important part about his point is you don’t get a ridiculous markup. You buy the item back for the same cost you sold it for. Extremely useful in my opinion.
Bruh. 7.77mm is sooooo common. I'd say at least 50% of the enemies i run into use grendals, which are chambered in it. Beowulf is as well. And there's the trick in The Well where u can just grab all the 7.77m on the displays in the weapon shop without it being counted as theft.
1:48 you just have to wait 48 hours UT... i thick... (some say they only have to wait 24 hours UT) So if you wait 3 hours on Titan (one of the moons of Saturn), you have waited 48 hours UT. Is faster Edited: There are 2 time units. Local time and UT (earth time or new atlantis).
Yeah just wait 48 hours local time to refresh vendors. Did this a lot at The Den when I had more than 11000 credits worth of stuff to sell. Bought ammo type I needed and digipicks, sold everything to get him low, waited 48 hours, and repeat.
@@cody180sx 48 hours in the Den, is 48 hours UTC... The "thing" is going to a planet where the rotation works on your favor (like Venus) so you wait 1 hour, and it counts as 100 hours UTC.
UT is Earth time, New Atlantis is on a planet with a day cycle a bit over double that of Earth’s (so you wait one hour on Jameson and you waited two hours and five minutes of UT).
I NEED HELP! I'm only 20hrs in. The only part of the main quest I did was to land at New Atlantis. I explored, joined Vanguard. HERE, is where my issue is. Vanguards first mission is to visit a remote place in Vau Ceti. However, it won't let me travel to that system. My ships cargo weight is low, so is my personal inventory. It just won't let me. In the star map i see the message ''unable to fast travel at this time''. Is it because I must get into the main storyline first? It doesn't tell me my grav drive needs updated either. I've spent hours now trying to visit this system so I can do this mission, it just won't let me go to Vau Ceti. What am I doing wrong???
Idk if you have to progress the story, but make sure you’re as close to the star system as possible, if not go to the closest system to it, press the scanner button while flying your ship, find the system and then grav jump.
@@dogedoge2026 It was the main story I had to start. So I went to that place to meet that woman, get a room of my own and listen about the artifacts. After that blonde babe decides to go with you, all of a sudden I could travel to any system within my fuel range. So figured out the problem! Game is so FEAKING HUGE...I have 30hrs in and haven't done jack shit yet lol! After I got out of the mines in the games beginning, I flew to a rock, moon whatever, and just landed on places all over it just taking in the sights, getting samples and exploring. Have no idea why all the attacks on this game, it's amazing.
@@kevinlist3330 No bounty, and my inventory & ship cargo weight was way below max. And the system was white, racist I know lol! Anyway...it was Tau Ceti, was my first mission given by the Vanguard. I found the problem though. I simply had to move the main quest forward. I had not done any of the main story except go to New Atlantis, that was it! Then I just did a few side gigs, explored the city and joined Vanguard. So I decided to do the main quest to see if it was the problem. I got just to the part where the blonde woman decides to join you, right after filling you in on the artifacts. Right after that, suddenly I was able to jump to any system within my fuel range! Go figure. So, I figured one of two explanations exist. 1. I encountered a bug, which worked itself out when I moved the main story a little further. 2. The game is set up that way. Will not allow any jumping to far systems until you meet that woman and join Constellation. What's your opinion on these two theories?
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO REMOVE THE DAMN warning status effects that say ( incoming Hazardous weather. Seek shelter immediately) because of that damn warning effect status. i cannot run or jump whiteout loosing health damage. I tried doctors and all the Aids medication nothing happens Please help 🙏
Check if you're suffering from any status... in your "profile" (tab in pc) look at any symbol next to it... Another thing is that the space suit, in very hazard planets, only has a limited ammount of time before "running out of protection". (It usually does a beep beep beep sound until it depletes)... To solve THAT, you need to go to a protected area (any indoor including your ship, AFAIK) and see if it shows a green message as it "recharges"... Once it's completed, you can go back outside for a while... Hope your problem is any of those things so you can solve it. =)
@@alexlavrikLavriqah, ok, ty. There is a small box on the desk/table/thingy right behind the research station in the basement that is also infinite weight. I've been using it and seems to be safe.

I was told that chest appears later in the story.... but.... the small chest right at the research station IS there from the getgo and is also infinite storage, so you can use that one instead. Same rule applies, take resources out of it to craft, put them back in to store.
@@RandomZeroGravity they're on my ship so no far walking at all, just open the doors on the side and the workshops are right there. Are you thinking of something else maybe? Can fast travel to ship always too so very convenient
@@srgnt0sprinkles Yeah you can do that as well for I don't know, a few seconds, maybe. But I would rather go straight to the workshop than take the resource and then fast-travel to the ship. I have multiple ships and most of them are class C and of course very big, so for me, it is not convenient at all. But you do you. In the end, it's the same result just takes very little time to complete ;)
@@RandomZeroGravity what I mean is I always put my resources in my ship storage as I go, since they're heavy af. Then whenever I want to research or craft I use the ships stations so I don't need to go pick up the resources I need to do it. Got sick of carrying around resources and being over encumbered. Gonna make one of them outpost farms soon and craft there too for XP gains
And yet star citizen cost 600 million dollars 10 years and still in Alpha 🤷 also Starfield wasn't ment to be better than Star citizen 🤷 it's Oblivion /Skyrim/fallout in space so maybe if you like Star citizen wonder why it's not better than it is 🤷

Again Starfield was never a star citizen killer it was it's own thing, star citizen can't even get its own game to be finished, I understand the game it will always be an unfinished and unreachable potential. It's a shame because 8 /9 years ago if they had just got backing instead of asking people to fund this disaster then it would and could of been something that people talk about for decades now it's a joke most expensive Alpha 🤷
