Yes but you can sell at the terminal, then sell to mercantile, then vendor in the well. You can offload 20k without waiting 24 hours that way.

Good farming method, I was wondering if difficulty swapping would work. One thing to add is that picking up dropped weapons first before looting bodies will cause you to pick up all the ammo in the gun's mag. Good ol fallout tactic.

What's nice about this is, I don't think it can be patched out because either they would have to make it so the loot generates after kill which would be real tricky or make it so the enemies stay the difficulty they were, which would then eliminate being able to get out of a jam when you get stuck in a fight you can't win and the only way out is to change to easy and beat em quickly.

They don't let you travel far enough on a planet for that anyways. Tbh I haven't hit a wall tho I just farm mats for 1000m then head in a diagonal direction and come back

@gageivan544 you can't. There's an invisible wall after a few miles. I haven't hit one but I'm also not traversing out more than 1000 meters because there's not much need to and I only do that for ores. Less if you're looking for buildings

Thank you for the video. I have a question. When I tried to sell a gun that let's say was 3000 credits, the vendor buy price was much lower. Do I need to get some kind of skill to sell the weapons for the price that was shown on the weapon when I found it?

Just a couple additions even tho i just started, make sure if you are doing this lower level save one of the guns because theyre better than yours and it is 100% worth it to look into chests and such as you go by, ive found legendary and epic gear in chests or on tables. Maybe dont pick through everything but, id say worth it to look.

Plus, use your ship's cargohold and EVERY crew member to your advantage, if you have the adoring fan trait, once you get Sarah you'll basically have THREE companions, all good to go with 145 carry weight each, then your ship's on top of that, you can make a fuckin HAUL if you want to, especially once you got enough credits to upgrade your ship for even more cargo

@Fuzzycatfur if you grab the easy contraband early you can upgrade your ship a fair bit and throw on some extra cargo, bonus if you grab the mantis, I put extra cargo on the hab on the bottom so I have quite a bit. But I collect mats like a mf so I have so much xP

Akila City - Freestar Ranger Mission Board These will send you to random location already, populated with bad guys, a boss, and extra XP and credits for fishing the quest. Best of all, can take multiple quests at once, up to four I think (one rescue, two planet side, one destroy pirate vessel).

i can improve this loop. At the Redline casino the bartender sells RUNNERS RUSH. You get the movement boost another buff and they sell them IN BULK.

I make a lot of credits I have the shield breaker ship has 2500 storage capacity I just loot all the bodies on all the missions. will always get to sell something and always gain more loot I have 450k credits plus 287k shield breaker ship invested.

I'm playing on Normal and have only come across one tiny location on a planet/moon which had robots guarding it. And that was after reloading a save. Before I did that, the location was abandoned with no NPCs. Maybe the chance is higher though on higher difficulty.

Well done guide. One thing I would also suggest is offloading your ship inventory that you wouldn't want to lose, such as resources, into the safe in your room at the Lodge on New Atlantis. This would then allow you to fill up your ship inventory with Epic and Legendary items as well, and sell them to vendors directly from your ship.

Just tried doing this on my first try not much in the way of loot but I found 3 mech components value over 12k as well as sentient Ai adapters worth almost 15k with stolen artwork worth over 15k and last with 5 valrun heretic each worth just over 8k all this is class as contraband so just got to find some where to sell the stuff get. I get that Feling that I might get locked up soon 😢😢😢

getting a thing to sell for credits is not the problem,vendors always don't have enough credits for your loot,you HAVE to sleep or wait on bench for them to reset.... why don't they just make vendors have more credits..I wonder 🧐

Wie verhält sich das eigentlich mit der Schmuggelware. Ich habe ein Schmuggelwaren Koffer gefunden, trau mich aber nicht den im Schiff oder Inventar zu lassen weil ich auch gestohlenes habe und da dann auch eine Strafe plus das entfernen zufolge haben könnte.

Du kannst es auf dein schiff machen und dann zu dem system wolf fliegen. Da wird man nicht gescannt. Wenn du das aber nicht möchtest kannst du auch shilded cargo kaufen bei einem bestimmten system das ich leider nicht mehr weiß musst eif mal auf yt schauen.

This is a lot of work to make 20k every several minutes when you can spend time doing missions that result in better loot and basically the same credit payout for your troubles. Plus story content. This isn’t a glitch so much as a grind wherein the juice, for me, isn’t worth the squeeze. But for the habitual grinders out there this may be the way.

What's nice is this isn't even any kind of exploit so much as it's literally standard Bethesda gsme mechanics. Vendors refreshing their funds after 24 hours works across Elder Scrolls and Fallout as well. The difficulty tweak is handy, though!

Nonsense , you don't need amps , just put the difficulty on very hard before the loading screen then back on normal when in, or for xp land on very high level planets with fauna put it on very easy and kill them for more xp , xp stays the same at any level.

I can't wait until modders can just increase contract payout size. Like who the hell risks their own life to take down 3 pirate ships for only 2500 credits??? Why the hell can't games ever give us realistic contract payouts for shit like this. Even Star Citizen doesn't know how to balance the economy. I'm getting increasingly frustrated with how poor I am in game. I can never surpass 50k and in order to set up an automated outpost it requires me leveling before I can even think about getting a lot of money. The grind is a little too much. I don't remember previous games taking me nearly 40 hours just to get to level 17 and never even surpass 50k.

I dont get it why but when you find items and the value it shows of the item is always wayyy off to what you actually get when your selling it example: find a pistol and lets say value is 2k but when u take it to sell its only worth like couple hundred buks

good luck getting to the higher level area's one you have to got to the area in space and before you can land on it, if you have never been in that system when you get into the system you automaticly get attacked by pirates and at the level they will destroy you. And you can not just land on the planet because it wont let you land when your in combat. And i dont believe that the ships when switching to very easy will make it easy to kill the ships!
