A few tips for people building this ship: 1. I was able to get every part except for 3 pieces by building a landing pad with shipbuilder at an outpost. 2. The cockpit and shield he used can both be found at the deimos starstation in the sol system (located at the deimos moon of mars) 3. The stroud 2x2 hab can be bought on neon, at the stroud eklund showroom in neon core, along the main street. 4. I was having issues with the 2 1x1 habs on the bottom floor of the ship. It kept connecting the ladder to the 2x2 room above it instead of having a door to the final room with the ladder all the way up to the cockpit. I solved this by deleting the 2 1x1 habs and putting a 2x1 deimos armory instead. Doing this gave me only 1 ladder that connects the whole ship together and solved the issue for me.
It's possible to convert this ship into a B-class ship with 90 mobility without losing any cargo space or ruining the appearance. 1. You start by changing the reactor and grav drive to the best b class versions losing 1 max power and grav range. 2. You keep the 2 nova 1050 engines but the other 2 get changed to Dunn-71 engines. You then put another nova cowling on top of the Dunn-71 engines but facing the back of the ship. 3. You remove the fuel tanks and get 2 lighter H10 atlas tanks and place them onto the sides of the Dunn-71 engines. 4. Finally, you pick up the bridge, place the reactor and grav drive hidden under the bridge. For the shield, get the vanguard bulwark shield generator that requires joining the uc vanguard and finishing the first quest. 5. You do have the option of replacing the cargo with a smaller one such as 2 StorMax 60's and you will hit 100 mobility. It's up to personal preference how much cargo you need. 6. I didn't use the weapon setup in the video because I don't like turrets. I used 6 vanguard obliterator auto projectors. 4 PBO-175 auto helion beams, and 3 exterminator 95Mev auto helion beams.
Do you know what level you were when you built this from the landing pad shipbuilder? Just wondering if I'm a high enough level to have most of the parts needed
I'm not usually one to be that impressed, yet this has to be the best, most un-Starfield ship ive seen, nearly all look like a lego build, but yours has a nearly seamless flow, you have blended the parts exceptionally well, looks almost 3d printed. And here's me thinking my latest and greatest was a masterpeice...back to the drawing board. Nice one
The thing this build unlocked in my mind was a rear-positioned-bridge. For some reason I ALWAYS started with my bridge positioned at the front but that's not necessary at all really! I don't know why that fact never really became apparent to me, lol
If you want this to look just a little sleeker you can use the shroud cowlings or mid bracers for the blocks directly behind your nose and in some of the wing parts - they snap a little better to shroud pieces than the deimos hulls (no parts sticking out) Beautiful ship design!
The thing I love a loud ship building is spending hours setting out which part of the interior I want to go where, only to finish and go inside and not know how to get to the cockpit 🤷
It's been fun to see how the ships evolve throughout the playthough. I'm having fun making changes to my ship as I go. My ship the "Loot Goblin" is coming along nicely. I do like how you set up your ship, It's nice and clean looking.
I still have my beloved Frontier, which I kept pretty original except for weapons, reactor, jumpdrive. The original looks matter to me. Its a classic. Sometimes its getting cramped, when you have like two crew, Vasco and some passengers on board. There is only one bed and one toilet/shower. But its been upgraded to Class B and very overpowered with 4 class B Plasma weapons and two EM-weapons. It also got the pirate upgrades, like shielded cargo, sensor blocker, comspike and the other thing I forgot what it does.
I perfectly recreated your original design but I believe I improved upon it with some slightly adjustments. I really appreciate you making this build to she’s for us to make ourselves. I now have an amazing end game ship and I love it.
I love the overall look of this. Something I really appreciate about Starfield is that when I copy these builds I can change whatever I don't like and it feels more unique to me.
Right on for your build man. Every time I get to working on something that is even close to looking cool or sleek I get that lovely "Your shit is too big" notice. 'Bout to mod this thing up.
You have put together many good looking ships. I hope in future we will be able to do more with the outposts as well because if you know what you're doing outpost can generate tons of credits for you 😊
I loved this ship build so much I had to do it myself! Get creativity!! Nice job!! I even like your color scheme. It makes it look so menacing. I keep going back and fourth to that color when I get tired of my color scheme.
Beautiful design! There are two excellent cockpits in this game, that one being one of them because of the view, but I feel that it's not at its full potential being in the center of the ship because of the lower windows being obstructed, that being said, there's another cockpit with the same upper windows, but the bottom has 2 staircases that lead to the bottom floor, this staircase negates the need for latters and imo would be ideal for this kind of setup. Just a suggestion, hope you don't take offense, your design is excellent.
I love this ship and I was thinking on something similar, but I can't stand stairs, so I had to go on a much simpler and restricted design (way less cooler also 😔)
Old Lyumi, nice to see you in starfield im with you since day one in Conan. Great design copied this beautiful ship but replaced some body parts for living quarters modules and little bit different engine's to boost speed little bit, overall man you are 3d printer ❤
Best ship I’ve seen. How many hours did the research/fitment testing take? Ive been meaning to do this but also know it can be time consuming. Thanks for this. Much appreciated.
i used the razorleaf for the whole game never even built a ship then at the end i bought a ship off the premade system for a few jumps and beat the game
I would like to make a cool ship like this, but i made mine with the rooms making sense.l and just built around it. Like the bottom floor is where the engineering bay, cargo bay and the workshops are at. 2nd floor is more for crew, living quarters, mess hall, armory. 3rd is the captains quarters, battle station, and infirmary(would have put that on the 2nd floor but the game kept doing this weird ladder thing). 4th floor is control room and big bridge.
built a ship that boosts to over 1k speed, cruises at 280, does pretty much the most dps you can do in the game, still has about 2k cargo and 3.7k shield cause of crew, might be able to make the shield higher if I used a C class reactor but I don't think I can afford the weight :P ( crew boosts to stats are weird, I mean u could get over 5k if it bugs out) Oh and it has a front docker and front bay for stealing multiple ships in one go :P. It uses only particle auto weapons, particle turrets would destroy a fleet even faster but are annoying and again they weigh more and the best ones are all C class . Just throwing what I did out there in case anyone wants to do the same :P
Just curious, what difficulty mode do you consider this ship to be "overpowered" for, and are you talking about an endgame space fight where you've not sided with Hunter or Emissary? I know for a fact you can get hull and shield to well over 2000 after picking the highest rated shield and reactor for those stats, maxing the skill that pertains to shields, and using the right crew. The weapons seem to be well thought out though. What did this cost to build btw?
Eh, I remember the first time I saw the trailer for this game, I was very impressed, I showed it to my wife (she also loved video games), and she, like me, was excited about this game. It was so long ago. But soon my wife died and my life turned into hell, I fell into a terrible depression, from which I am still recovering. In those years I almost fell to the bottom. I don't know when I'll be able to truly recover. 6 years of depression is a lot. For now I barely earn enough to rent a house and eat food, buying a sufficiently powerful PC is still completely unrealistic, given the state of affairs in our damned country. But. Someday, Rita, I will play this game (and Cyberpunk 2077) for the two of us, because you were also waiting for the release of these games.
Now that is one sexy ship. Would you mind listing all the parts in the description or a sticky if its not a bother? I wanna imitate your design and tweak it a little.
Bohr system. Planet Bohr 3a. if I'm not mistaken. There are many craters on Mars. sometimes found on the Moon. Typically, planets with craters can be seen on a system map. bringing the planet closer. there will be a lot of holes on the texture of the planet)
if you build an outpost with a large landing pad in the solar system, there will be a lot of structural parts there. But not all. It’s probably not possible to collect all the details in one place (
Love your presentation/editing and especially the design of the ship! Not a huge fan of the internal layout though as I feel it doesn't flow logically, that 1x1 at the bottom of the back ladder doesn't have much of a purpose either. I wonder if you could make it a little better with experimental engines and I always want more cargo capacity. Could definitely be tweaked but the silhouette is amazing!
The companionways makes ladders. That 1x1 part between the ladder "hallway" and the hopetech workshop can be switched for a 1x1 storage and then the ladder up tp the computer room will be removed.
There is no doubt that this is probably the best build i have seen, and a very well put together presentation too. So very serious respect for taking the time to share this. One Question, What is the location for putting this ship together for the parts, please and thank you? 🙂
you will have to fly to different shipyards. On each part the manufacturer is indicated in large letters on the left of the screen. It’s better to find a video on RU-vid about all the shipyards.
Only thing I hate about buiding ships in this game is you have to use the main/ primary parts you can find, then fly 3 different places for the other bits, so sometimes you're just wasting credits and using cheap engines and the wrong type of cockpit just to get to the next place where you can repurchase the right engines, then fly to the other place with the right cockpit. So dumb. Then you gotta go to the place with the grav drive you want and the next place with the correct habs/ bay/ docker module...and it can become a headache because let's say that in order to meet the minimum landing gear count you need to sacrifice a component because you don't yet have the correct bay that has the additional attachment points, and that's the only ideal way adding more landing gears works, so you temporarily use any landing gears you can find, and get rid of that sacrificed part (an extra fuel tank or cargo container) that wont be available where the landing bay is available, so then you have to come back for that other thing you got rid of, in order to temporarily meet the landing gear requirements, and finally put the landing gear you want on, where you want them. I wish one vendor had it all...or that we could just build or run our own staryard and just find blueprints to unlock these things.
There is a pinned comment on the video, it should be the very first one you see. there the man described in detail all his steps as he built the ship). you need ship design skill level 4 and level 60. but can be replaced with available parts, losing a little of the ship's characteristics
Very cool looking ship and excellent video format! However.. 1700 cargo with 62 mobility wouldnt meet the benchmark for "endgame" ship for me... my level 31 bounty hunter has a ship with 8,000+ cargo at 62 mobility, and I fly it only out of necessity. I orefer flying the ship I built at lvl 20ish with 100 mobility amd just under 3k cargo. My biggest time sink in this game is trying by trial and error to figure out how I can get huge amounts of cargo while maintaining over 90 mobility.... storage space is a real issue in this game, especially given how cumbersome it is to stack credits by selling crap when most vendors are limited by a 5k bankroll, you end up hauling stuff everywhere.
