FIRST = 1st...Between exploring every square inch of the major cities / settlements and getting the maximum number of outposts ( 16? ) established on these paradise worlds and acquiring every possible player home / apt. ( Dream Home + Kid Stuff )...I hope Constellation has abundant patience waiting for me to actually start doing some of thier plans...

He puts you onto something that you may encounter while wandering and it’s awesome! 👍
I went to a mountain area on Bardeen III and fell in love. It had a rocky, high sierra look to it, like the American west. Wyoming maybe. I actually went really far out, about 3.5-4km from my ship and there were no more POIs to get in the way of base building. It was beautiful. I also discovered that you can't circumnavigate a planet in Starfield because once you get to about 5km from your ship you get a message to either fast travel back or pick a whole new landing spot. Nemeria IVa (a moon) was also beautiful.
built an outpost on beautiful Bardeen III. watch out for the wildlife though, it can one-shot you (I'm level 75, walked behind a rock and *killcam* died instantly lol. make sure your base has defences.
I set up my first outpost on Eridani II in the Tropical forest on a nice rise in a clearing and got 4 resources (gold, fluorine, chlorine & water). When I decided to start scanning unaligned systems for a starter outpost, I decided to start in the Eridani system almost as a meme, and it has so far been the best overall system I've found. As for the "meme" part, that system has been in so many sci-fi series either as an important location or in the background: In David Weber's Honor Harrington series, the system gives its name to that setting's equivalent of the Geneva Accords (The Eridani Edict), in the TV series Babylon 5, Eridani III is the planet the namesake station orbited, and Eridani II is known as Reach in the Halo universe... As in the planet that was glassed by the Covenant shortly before the start of the first game & where the prequel game Halo: Reach takes place. The rest of the Eridani system is also pretty awesome: Two other planets with life on them (although one has a methane atmosphere & corrosive environment, so you'll need two ranks in Planetary Habitation to build an outpost on it), and loads of planets & moons with tons of commonly used & rare resources (like Titanium, Caesium & such), making it a good all in one star system for resource gathering, and one I intend to turn into my own private space nation (provided the right sort of outpost mods get released that let you build proper towns instead of just minimalist bases).

My main outpost is on Eridani II and it’s beautiful with bountiful resources. I have iron, cobalt, water and gold at my main outpost, with copper and nickel being shipped in from another outpost on the same planet. Have aluminum and helium coming in from a nearby moon. Main outpost is set up right on the border of a rocky desert biome and a hilly tropical forest, so the view is half of each. Really cool planet.
A favorite of mine is Grimsey. It's a moon in the Narion system that is almost entirely made up of dead volcanoes. The planet it orbits has a ring around it like saturn. When it's dark, the ring looks so close that you could reach out and grab it. I built an outpost at the top of one of the volcanoes with a big landing pad in the center and the habs set up around the ring. It's a great spot.
Schrodinger was a physicist probably best known for his "Cat", a thought experiment about a cat in box, and whether it actually exists until you open the box.
This is an excellent vid and you can or should make it an exploration series for great Outpost locations due to the evergreen biome. Very few content creators cover this aspect of Starfield even though we all explore all these systems and planets. Most people only ever land on 1-2 areas on many planets and thus never notice the different areas on the planet that may look great with forests and plant life. So your providing something from exploration that many players may overlook just not taking the time. To be honest I’ve visited a lot of systems though maybe half the entire systems, but I’m usually looking for Extraction resources for Outposts, low gravity moons and it’s usually at the cold frozen area of the planet where there is less chance of any wildlife to be roaming thru Outpost for defense. So I don’t even usually bother to visit the warmer areas with wildlife or to see the environment. So your videos do much to highlight that in the diversity of beautiful environment that can be used for a nice Outpost setting or research facility.
I love how playful Bethesda was, when creating alien animals. Critters that look like kites. Flying sting rays. Massive bats. And those ridiculous creatues who look like they're wearing helmets. Lots of fun stuff to see!
There's also at least one location with creepy spiders that have web balloons on their back. Aggressive buggers too, but decent XP. I think I wasted 2,000 ammo for the Beowulf just shooting them down the last time I was in that location. Thankfully every Grendel picked up from a fallen enemy adds ammo to your stocks.
I setup .... a "relaxation outpost" first couple playthroughs on iradani for the view.... thank you for creating this list, and also big thank you for labeling each in your video so I could skip ahead and back.... Just started a new playthrough ... have no outposts setup yet.... already know what planets I setup for resources but this video is exactly what I was looking for .... " a nice place to setup a home base in a beautiful location.... much appreciated!
For those looking for a source of Titanium and Adhesive two materials I find to be in frustratingly short supply at traders but essential for crafting and base building, especially warehouse storage, try Pyraas II, or II-a if a gas giant as my notes conflict with the info on Map Genie. All planets generate resources procedurally so I am sorry if it is not as prevalent for you but it should still have it. The Pyrass System [level 70] is in the far galactic NE and I found large amounts of titanium in ground and on nodes but you will need some points in the Planetary Habitation skill to put a outpost here but I am not sure how many (rank 2 or 3) as I only knew I couldn't place an outpost and was just happy to have found a source of Ti. There is a local aggressive creature called a Swarming Scavenger that looks like a bear/wolf/reptile crossbreed and runs fast and travels in packs that drops adhesive. The planet is high level and the long necks there are tougher than their level to bring down and not worth the ammo for the XP they give. I just made a run collecting Ti nodes and killing the Swarming Scavengers whenever I saw them, then moved and did it again until I had enough to last me for awhile.
Eridani VII-C has titanium and tungsten. set up a base that mines both. easy As for adhesive, go to the desert on Alpha Centauti/Gagarin, scan the cactii to 100%, then make a base/greenhouse and "farm" the cactus, which will give you loads of adhesive. The only rare thing you need to hunt for really are Luxury Fabrics, and you get those from shooting Foxbats on Schrodinger III
I came across your video when I was searching for scenic places to build an outpost. I appreciate the video and all the options I never thought of. I didn’t really build my first outpost until NG+2 and I chose Gamma Vulpes II-A. It’s a couple systems away from Masada in bottom. Very green and has lots of resources. And the system has much of the need resources so you can pretty much stay in system.

BTW, I've been doing some more system scouting, and decided to check out the Schrodinger system, and it would definitely be one of my top recommendations for settling: Not only is Schrodinger III really pretty, but there are also another planet & moon with oxygen atmospheres & life (although the other planet has a toxic environment trait, meaning you'll still need a space suit outside), and they are both also very beautiful, especially the moon, Schrodinger VIII-a, especially if you build an outpost where you can see the ringed gas giant it orbits hanging in the sky.
Indeed, your spot on and especially as the abundant labeled planets biodomes offer much in organic resources not available on the barren moons. If your interested in mastering all the RSS in the game and building a factory so as to craft every item in the game then you MUST check out the only vid on here that has shown that it can be done ... the author being @Polemos_RPG ... it's amazing to see the work he has done.
I somehow feel like I’m cheating or taking the easy/boring route by building on Jemison!! 😂 I lack imagination though sometimes so maybe I should just explore Jemison as a possible outpost location! 😃
Yes, I didn't put Jemison in this first video as most people should know about about it, I guess you're right. A lot of people don't go looking around it.
Schrodinger 3 is where i have my main outpost. I did not think about where i put down the beacon, other than away from the ship, but i found a valley with hills (not mountains) so no spaceship can land within 900 meters from my outpost, as the usually land where it is flat ground. I love the flowers in the grass and a bonus is the foxbat that you can get luxury textile from. Now i just have to find a planet that has palm trees and other more Caribbean feel to it.
I have several outposts in the Eridani system with three, including my main, on Eridani II (aka Reach). It is by far my favorite. Another nice earth-like planet you didn't mention is Cassiopeia I in the Eta Cassiopeia system.
Just visiting Ternion III. The coniferous forest there is wonderful. The sand dunes by the sea is pretty nice too. Not so much aggressive fauna but high level (70) though.
Schrodinger the psychologist. Best known for his office’s pet cat which was a little known and popular dwarf leopard which had a haircut such that it was both soft to the touch and rough to pet. It was so ugly yet women always said it was cute. His clients were all comforted and repelled by the little big cat.
@@WombatGaming An honorable mention goes to Fermi III, nice planet with purple sand deserts and the perfect place to simulate Starship Troopers while gaining XP on a high stakes bug hunt.
I setup base on Maheo I (Cheyanne's twin system), zero wildlife, mainly auto generated buildings and one preset. Nice and lush in the forest biome. Very peaceful, few resources, but i use it just as a home.
Yes most famous for his analogy involving a cat in a box and how you arent sure if the cat is alive or dead until you open the box and observe it. So before it is observed the cat is both dead an alive at the same time . Its a analogy for some funky properties of quantum mechanics and superposition.
Really hoping the find the "perfect" tropical beach planet (Paradiso is soooo NOT it). There are some good potentials here, but for right now the only beach house i have is on Jemison, one of the small islands on the other side of the globe from New Atlantis. I am going to need to check some of these places out that you have showcased today. Thanks for this!
Theres a planet where theres a kinda beach side pirate mansion that I'm sure is for a quest i haven't got to yet but might make for a good location but its in the Maheo system,
You do know you can holster your weapon, right? A video about how beautiful the landscape is and 1/3 of your damn screen is taken up by a gun. :headbang:
If you want to showcase what is on your screen, probably holster your gun. It takes up almost 1/4 of the screen and you don't need it on the screen while showing off the planet. Maybe show off some notable resources that can be gathered from the flora and fauna.
Tisa chi system not sure what planet I’m on but I found an area with in the swamp biome with several large water pools/lakes and there’s palm trees m/yellow me sand/green grass and bushes also rock formations! I really like it apart from the bumpy terrain it fantastic

I want an island where I am free from the indigenous pests but can enjoy a nice view. All the common (and preferably some of the less common) materials need to be available within the system (so I don't need He3 fuel). I know the first two criteria are met by Serpentis III but that system is awfully poor in resources ...
I wouldn't be surprised if one of the first real mods for this game . Is a mod that adds ground vehicles , quads are dirt bikes or something like that . As it is the best you can do to speed things up is to download a jetpack mod .

I forget the planet but the zone set is ice Plato mountains over looking sand desert horizon with volcanic on my far right horizon and decigous forest on the left horizon...... it's G.D. BEAUTIFUL on a sunrise.... I afk on the cliff side .... alot its blueish in the mornings and reds and dark greens in the evenings.... land on mountains connected to Platos to find
I was searching for planet with beautiful sandy beach same as next to Paradiso hotel, but I didn’t find any beautiful sandy beach. Always full of rocks or bacterial ocean. 😞 got any ideas?

I thought dull color in Starfield was my new monitor, a required emergency purchase. However I'm watching the vibrant colors of your weapon on this monitor so obviously fuzzy and toned downed color graphics is from series X. The console was mostly a lie.
I really want to find a nice VOLCANIC planet with lava flows and pools of hot bubbling magma. 🌋 A base looking over lots of nice active geology. It probably would have some unusual and rare resources.
Anyone else? I find it interesting that the only creatures we are fighting on Bugs... in a Bethesda game? Makes sense :) Anyone find any creatures other than these scaly crustaceans? It would be nice to see a cute deadly fuzzy creature, but in the end it makes sense that all we can fight are the bugs
I'm one to enjoy a grest vista however as there is a limit to how many outposts we can set up, the governing factors for me are the areas on planets or moons where the biomes converge and thus usually there are more Rss sites. Of all the regions you showed i think maybe one had in the outpost marker info 3 rss and one was water which almost all high or nedium flora planets have. WAS Good vid, just not sure if really that useful. Also if you added the trait of Delux House then that planets Biome is usually exactly as your showing with the hills, mountains, and great vistas. I have anyway but as Oi also picked wanted LoL the turrets are needed in every location anyway. I did enjoy watching but usefulness was bit low for me. (I set up in the akila system when i was lv4)
yea.. sorry, cant even hold a candle to no mans sky paridise planets. they are ok.. but seriously, i hope they use my $70+ license fee for some development. really looking forward to what they do with this game..
