Thank you! I definitely got some Fallout vibes with this build, I was going to make it into a trailer park with companions and everything but I wanted to show how you could make something small but useable. Maybe I’ll make a trailer park down the line 🤔

haha nice! I like to hear that. This is actually my favorite build of mine 😂 so much so that the recent mods I’ve added are to help others make a build similar to this with better and more decor options. Idk if you’re doing a mod free play through but if you check out my recent vids they’ll really help for a build like this!

Thanks dude! I think it’s my favorite build as well. As far as the rugs goes I’m not sure, you can even see in the video I walk underneath them and look up and you can see the bottom of the rugs. Maybe rotate them and see if the other side that hangs off is also see-through from underneath. Could just be a weird glitch. And when your placing the outhouse it keeps snapping to the living space hallway habs? Are there storage crates behind the main hab already? I don’t have the outhouse hab directly up against the main one there’s storage crates behind it. What I do if the crates keep snapping to something I don’t want, I basically place a crate further away from where I want it to end up going and then snap other crates to that one until it leads to where I want it and then I delete the crates that are further out if that makes sense. So much of Bethesda building revolves around build order and placing this first and then placing that and so on.. bunch of weird quirks to learn and figure out as you keep building.

Thank you! And I built right beside my landing site, my ship was spawning there but unfortunately hasn’t been spawning there anymore. Idk if I built too close to it or how it works. I gotta test it more. Guess you could plop a small landing pad down there but this build looks better without a pad imo and unfortunately it doesn’t seem to want your ship to spawn beside your outpost without a landing pad. My ship now spawns like 200 meters away but I have another build that I didn’t put much down at and my ship still lands there so I really don’t get it.

@@MillsBuilds Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah it looks SO good with just the ship landed on the ground next to it. Ima have to play around with it also or pray for a mod that allows you to do that. The landing pads are insanely bulky for outpost like this.

You can actually get it for free from your parents by picking the kid trait. I customized the colors but I don’t think I did much besides that, maybe changed the weapons.

Unfortunately not, it was landing there consistently and then it stopped. Haven’t been able to get it too since, don’t know if I built too close or it’s just not possible.

If your having any troubles with things snapping together, just build out further to where it doesn’t snap and then start connecting from that point to where you need to go. Kinda hard to explain, hope that makes sense.

Thank you! And yeah I’m actually confused on that myself. I built right beside where my ship landed cause I didn’t want to have a landing pad and it stayed there but then one time I fast traveled there and my ship wasn’t right beside my base anymore. maybe I built too close to it, not sure. It seemed to be pretty inconsistent, I have to test it more.

@@MillsBuilds Oh yeah that makes sense. Good to know, I will have to test some myself to see if there is any way to land close without the landing pad. Thanks for replying!
