@@ritoArmenta The bracers are connected to the Grav Drive and Reactor, the landing bay gets connected to the Habs built in front and above and does not need to connect to the bracers
If you don’t want to do the vanguard thing, just save up enough to by the Econohaul ship and make a few minor adjustments to it. Buy far the best Class A ship I’ve had since playing
Certain class A ships for sale have parts only obtainable with a higher starship design level, but you are still class A. I think the best class A ships will have to start from a purchased base. Like the Econohaul that someone mentioned.
As someone who struggles with the ship building in sf this is amazing easy to understand and very helpful please make more of these I think class A and B could be fun to play around with for certain characters definitely keep making more
This might sound weird but try to make a ship from scratch. The moment the ship building systems clicks in your head it's very easy to make your own ships. It's just a balancing act with weight and maneuverability
This is a very well made build guide: you take your time to tell us whatparts are necessary to buil it instead of doing like other creators and forcing people to pause videos each few seconds just to try to read the name of the parts. Thank you!
for those looking how to attach the Stroud Engine Bracer to the Docking bay, don't worry about it. Just line it up and move on. It is attached at one end and doesn't need to be attached at the other end. Once you start building and adding the above layers you will see how it all fits together.
Great video. I'd very much appreciate it if you did a series specifically for ship builds. It would be a great compliment to your builds series. It might even be cool if you did a "lore" section in your ship guides, similar to your character builds, but in this case the "lore" could be what the ship is specifically designed to do - such as a mobile fighter, a pirate's smuggling ship, a freighter, etc.
This reactor and many other of the best parts are level gated. That's probably why you can't find them, or those juiciest versions of them, even when you have maxed ship design rank. As far as I know, the only way to get this reactor (without sufficient player level) is to start the build with a Narwhal sold in the Ryujin Tower.
I fell in love with auto turrets. I already have piloting 4 and ship design 4 and have two different kind of auto turrets plus a railgun I use manually. They have exceptional good aim
I would absolutely be THRILLED if this became a full series! The possibilities are endless! Personally i would love to see a few simple solo captain/mandalorian vibe ships especially for the early-mid game!
I think Hopeville and the Red Mile ship services have a forward facing docking module? is a really easy way to avoid those bulky 1x1 modules or the random ladder in the middle of a top section. Snaps on and takes space same way a port window does.
Great looking ship. You could put the slim docker on the bottom front of the workshop. Then no entry directly into captains quarters. That last ship looks massive.
Love the ship builds, would love class a and b builds, and even the character style ones with full themes and back stories! And i love your asymmetrical builds as well
I'm all for more of these ship builds, A, B, C, themed, etc. Would even like a Superfreighter even though there's not a HUGE need for maxxing out your cargo space.
I want to request a space tractor-trailer. The closest i could find pre-built is the Big Rig. Minimal crew size, tons of cargo! Alternate request would be the Nostromo.

This is an amazing video. It’s easy to understand it gets to the point it shows you why you want this ship and it makes you realize you’re gonna have to upgrade your shipbuilding skill.

I love this design a lot. and will likely try to make my own version of it. but with the entrance infront and maybe one that doesn't need a ladder to get into. will have to play around a bit. still far off as im not nearly high enough lvl :P
I built something similar to this as an A class and it’s sort of a mix between a no man’s sky sentinel and a Klingon war ship. The ship building is very Awesome, totally love it!
awesome ship, definitly gave me insight onto some of my ship ideas. I'm a fan of D&D spelljammers sailing ships in space. but even more so the animal themed ships. when i get higher level in ship building I plan on making a wide rounded turtle looking carho hauler as well as a hammerhead shark shaped boarding ship with fake sail/back fin I'd love to see a huge ship build with a coxkpit at the back of the ship like a star destoyer from stsr wars has one where from the cockpit you can see the rest of the ship below and in front of you and see all the weapons firing
I just want to thank you for this video. I would LOVE to be creative enough to make my own ship but it isn’t something my brain can handle. You have provided me a way to build an amazing ship and i think it is amazing that you freely allow others to enjoy your designs. I don’t think many other players would be as willing. Great ship! I enjoyed the tour but your ability to break down how to build it, by separating the layers, was just brilliant! Kudos to you! Now I just need to get good at piloting instead of blowing up so I can get to C class....LOL!!!
I use a pretty heavily modified razor leaf. The one you get from a certain questline. It's awesome, I upgraded it to B class along with all the engines and replaced the habs with more useful ones and made it a little longer whilst still preserving the original silhouette . I use 4 particle weapons and once I have some more power to work with I'm planning on using 2-4 particle turrets as well depending on space/power. This makes it feel like a real capable fighter and I've added some decent cargo to make it a bit of a jack of all trades. Also a really good ship for a gunslinger if you stick with the original colour scheme imo. Though I play a more Han Solo type scoundrel character for whom the shielded cargo is very useful.
I’d love to see wat more ship guides. They have such personality and utility at the same time. -maybe themed ones like a stealthy illegal set or a giant cargo ship or a Jack of all trades speedy ship
I think it'd be cool if when you guys make roleplay/playstyle builds, you could include the builds own ship that goes with it. And you could even have a ship for each class as you progress. (or just upgrade the builds first ship)
I would love to see more ship builds. I don't have Starfield (yet) but I feel I will go deep into the shipbuilding. Would love to try recreating famous ships form other science fiction franchises.
Great video as usual. I am roleplaying as the “long hauler”, and I have had a ton of fun creating A-class cargo ships. I am now thinking of spicing him up with doing a bit of tour-bus driving, and I would love to see your take on a tourist charter space ship 😊
Another vote for a class A build. Something like the ship you just showed but scaled down to fit class A. I love your open floor plan design. A workshop and science lab for crafting. Crew of around 4. Able to do the needed 21LY jump in the main quest.
it would be really cool if you guys did really in-depth ship building tutorials. From A-C rank as well as showing off what different ship interiors look like since there's so much to cover and easily missable
Only level 10 but so far absolutely loving this game. Tried ship building for a short bit but didn’t have enough credits and honestly it was kind of confusing at first 😂 so I ended up taking a UC econohaul and customizing it from there as well as a varuun litany which just looks badass. This video is extremely helpful and can’t wait to get some more credits/level up to make a ship comparable to this
Just a tip for anyway. If you want a good ship reactor without perks or dissembling unique ships. On Neon they well Warhorse. It looks pretty much like a beefy version of frontier and has a 28 energy A Class Reactor. Also has pretty good engines and rear cargo as well as weapons enough to get you through most early game content on very hard.
Super video! I will eventually build this beauty. Two requests: Assuming level 4 piloting and ship building, builds at various levels would be awesome. ie. At level 20 this is a great ship for (whatever purpose) Also, it would be awesome to see builds based on ships you can capture. For Instance about level 17 I already had captured a spacer hyena. I have stripped it down for extra jump distance, and added shielded cargo, but beyond that any type of reconfiguration of the parts always fails. It would be wonderful to see what you could do by taking one apart reassembling it! 🙏🙏
After a failed attempt to build the ship I want last night I was wondering if you would make videos like this, kinda like your skyrim RP videos. I'd love to see more videos like this and hopefully a massive Battleships kinda ship
