I’d like to see a version of this bag that’s 30-50 dollars more expensive that comes with a frame on the bottom to hold up the discs and a putter pouch on the side. They are so close to such an amazing bag
Not bending over as far to access your plastic is one of the reasons I always carry a folding camp stool to put my bag on during rounds. Definitely could see enjoying that aspect of this bag. Very unique design overall. Water bottle holder def a flaw imo tho. 14 oz is like 2 swigs for me haha.
would be nice if you could put them on during the video, its hard to get a good size reference on these bags and would be nice too see how it fits on the back
My buddy and I drink a lot on the course and people are always asking to buy a beer off me. Maybe I'll make some money this summer! A little vendor action baby! Great review as always man. Cheers!
Another great video! You've mentioned possibly reviewing other products like range finders, I'd love to see you get your hands on a gaggle of disc retrievers and put them through the paces. Efficacy, durability, portability, weights, etc. Just a thought.
Am I missing an upper park rebel video? I've seen it in the background of several of these videos. Also, in the intro of this one. If one hasn't been done is there a reason for that?
I have not made a review of The Rebel. The one you have seen in my background is the older style Rebel. My intention was to buy a new Rebel and review it, while having the older style on hand to show the changes to the new one. I have not got a new Rebel yet and I don't really want to review the old style.
That's fair. Thank you for the response! I'll look forward to a video on the new version when the time comes. I will selfishly ask though. Have you found any major issues with the rebel? I'm in the market and have not been able to find any 3rd party reviews on any of it's versions. I understand upper park was "reorganized" last year so maybe that's something to do with it.
I really don't like how far forward the bottle holders sit. Your elbows will hit the bottles when you try and put the bag one and when the bag is on and you are walking your arms will constantly hit the bottles. The upper disc storage is not as easy to work with as some others. the soft putter holders collapse and bind when you try and put discs in so you either have to be very careful or use 2 hands, 1 to hold the pocket open and the other to slide the disc in. Fossa skinny 2, The Ridge, and Voyager are far superior when it comes to storing a lot of discs up high. I honestly don't know of 1 thing the Rebel does better than other bags. I don't even find it that comfortable. Which is odd, because its easy for me to find a lot of things I don't like about the Rebel however most people that own them say they love the bag.
Thank you for the insight! I could agree that it seems strange since everyone seems to love them. I am naturally a little skeptical and 5 star everything pings a bit high on my radar to that effect. Thank you again for your time. Your channel's content is niche, but bar none best on the net. Keep it coming!
I said it before, I'll say it again, I'll say it every time.... You would make a killing in sales. It's not about being a flashy new car salesman like it was 30 years ago. You need a consultative approach and you need to be critical about small details to help optimize your customer's business, experience, products, etc. It seems natural for you when it comes to DG but I'm sure that would translate well to a lot of products. Just my two cents. Have a nice day Doth 🙂
