Or his reaction to the note from the future. "Sir, wasn't that planet on our upcoming mission list?" "Not anymore it's not, I'm not taking any chances."
Must be annoying to work at NORAD and get a classified "Code 5" and getting stuck within the NORAD complex. (NORAD is situated above the Stargate command complex but utilize the same big double blast doors for entry)
Code blue is US emergency services code for any medical situation requiring advanced life support. Most commonly reanimation, sometimes indeed because of a heart attack.
Ok, you just made me watch the bug episode. God, I love Stargate. Only show I have watched multiple times and can just randomply pick up an episode and enjoy.
I'm kinda missing the self destruct alarm from S5 E19 where Carter and Hammond activate the self destruct. Okay, its basicly the Code 3 Panic Button alert only a bit slower but its still its own alert.
Any other sci fi show when someone claims they see something no one else can, you get the usual runaround in Act 1, "are you sure you saw something? Are you feeling ok?". In Stargate, Gen Hammond immediately takes it seriously and orders a lockdown.
5:42 oh man, this is cool - while speaking, o'neill passes the gun to carter for her to cock it, because one of his arms is out of commission. carter instantly does it, and hands it back. iron man takes point left-handed. damn cool!
I pointed that out when I watched it a few days ago with my mum, it’s pretty funny how he just picks it up hands it to her and she does it and gives it back
7:15 every single time someone says this in star trek or anywhere like this, it feels like theyre actually saying " i have no idea how to deal with that" instead of sounding cool
I love how SG1 Characters arent dumbasses. Everyone knows better than to dismiss wierd stuff and they are all attentiv always. It also ads to the realism that this is something build up over seasons. Where in the beginning "I saw something no one else here saw" would have ended in that person getting to the infirmary at best, in the later seasons everyone is immediatly on alarm because they have seen to much to be stupid. This show is so amazing
