You made me aware of Star Grave and thanks to you im deeply excited to organize a game of it with my friends together for the first time in more than a year. Thank you so much for your passionate coverage of skirmish wargames
Great job. I have watched everything on youtube up to now...and yours is the best hands down. You weren't able to finish, but given the constraints and lack of time to prep this was fantastic. (Thank you for talking through the rolls and rules that is why I watch playthroughs...so far you are the only people to do this).
Wow I used that exact commissar to lead my own Mordians, he fits them so well. MIght have to dig them out, but for now have been using the old imperial army and navy troopers from Star Wars West End for my crew. Great report, looking forward to more!
Excellent batrep as usual. I have been looking forward to your first Stargrave batrep since it is your channel that brought the game to my attention. Looking forward to more on your channel.
Your filming style made it really easy to follow and the color/details on you figures also made it easy to tell which figures were which. The sound effects were a nice touch - the noise the hound made when it activated made me think of an automatic hand sanitizer or paper towel dispenser which I thought was kind of funny. All around, great battle report!
Good batrep, you may not have known all the rules but you did make things clear. really liked you table set up, how big was your play area? I think the book recommends 3'x3'. Looking forward to seeing both your real crews in action :)
@@oldhammered Ah, the other game plays I've seen are all right around an hour to and hour 15, so I think once you are familiar with the rules things will go quicker on that size play area and full crew
Hey there. We sometimes say it's a "wash" when the pluses and minuses cancel each other out, leaving just an unmodified die roll. Glad you enjoyed the vid!
Your videos are great - very helpful to those of us just getting into the hobby. I know this is an old video, so not sure if you still look at comments, but do you remember what type of mat that is you used in the video?
