Stark 2.0HP vibrating tamper oil leak

I bought a super handy plate compactor 7hp has the same issue

I know the oil for the engine is SAE30, what oil weight is used for the vibrator unit

I bought a Vevor plate compactor-very similar design, but 6.5 HP. My vibrator is leaking-there appears to be a "weep hole" on the vibrator shaft between the housing + the V belt pully-it pukes out aerated oil from this hole. Do you have that hole on the exposed portion of your shaft near the belt/pully area. Do these need a pressure relief hole? Or might it be the internal shaft seal, but it seems that the vibrator shaft has been drilled for venting, but it leaks-Any insights anyone?? Thx
