The Alta is a great bike and super fast in its own right, but Varg is just a bit better. Im running the Varg in 60-62hp mode and the Alta outputs 50hp, so the Alta definitely feels a little slower after immediately riding it after hopping off the Varg. Still fun as heck though. I have the suspension dialed on my Alta and i still love it. Rear tire on the Alta is worn more than the Varg so i was breaking loose a bit.

@bwhaskell, i also have a Alta and waiting to get my stark Varg any week soon, so I wonder how much battery Alta used in 10 minutes and which of the 4 modes you used, and also you said that you got your suspension diled on your Alta, what psi do you have in the fork, bcz I really like my suspension and the shock on the track, but when I jump big jumps and over jump or case it feels like the bike land super heavy and it’s hard to get the bottom stroke of the suspension to hold up the heavy weight compare to over jump or case with a gas bike. Hopefully it wasn’t to long question :-)

You might be able to make it work on the Alta. Or you can just buy an Alta specific LHRB kit.

I'm not riding electric dirtbikes in order to save the planet. Electric dirtbikes perform better and are safer on the track in my opinion. They're also much much quieter than gas bikes. I ride them for those reasons and many more. I use a gas generator to charge my bikes just because its convenient, but I could plug into RV outlets (tracks here in the south/east/midwest have them) for silent charging, or rig up my sprinter to output the power i need. There are options, i just choose a generator.

Dude, it's not about the environment as that climate change shit is bs. At least for me it's the trickness factor of having a superior motocross bike that can give you 80HP at the touch of a button,multiple power maps and the programming aspect, if you buy yourself 5-10 acres you can ride in your backyard without possibility of neighbors calling cops and complaining and shutting your own track down forever like a few of my buddies tracks by me. My one buddy has a killer track he can't ride his bike on it because the county shut him down due to noise complaints. His next door neighbor complained so much county killed his track. The messed up part it's just his 20 acre property and his next door neighbors 35 acre property and the closest neighbors to them are a good mile away. What's messed up is his neighbor has a private pistol, rifle and skeet shooting range that's open 7 days a week where they're busting caps and throwing lead downrange where alot of the lead lands in the 2 creeks at the 1 side and rear of his neighbors property that seep into the water table that ends up into the local well water but they shut him down.

Plus the fact the cost to maintain a 4T bike, $10 per gallon pump race fuel, no more cleaning air filters, oil changes, top-bottom end rebuild costs let alone blowing a 4t up and the time and cost. E'bikes are the future. It's not about the environment unless you buy into the NWO Globalist power-control plan.

AMA technically bans helmet/face mask cams. Some local tracks will let you race them, but it's really hit or miss. it's a liability thing with the helmet manufacturers who say any such modifications aren't "covered" or something along those lines, so AMA race tracks are liable should something happen...apparently regardless of all the waivers riders sign every day. 😄
