I think Bonnie did it better as Hermione and Meredith did it better as if it was just a song. (The most empowering song ever)

I agree. Meredith is cool and I like her, but Bonnie was the best at playing Hermione (and way better that movies version!)

Megan :D I agree, but it is worth considering that Meridith has never performed the entirety of AVPS, so she’s never sung it fully in character. On tours they’re performing as themselves, so she’s making musical decisions over character ones.

I realize this is four years too late but realize that the song was originally written for bonnie's voice. who if i can tell correctly is a soprano, Meredith is an alto. and even if they were in the same voice range, the song was written for bonnie's voice and Meredith does not have bonnie's voice so its always gonna sound better w bonnie. i still like merediths version tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
