Well, this is a sincere, heartfelt song from Allstar. I've dealt with ALL of you guys in Nashville HipHop, all the way back in the 90's, where I worked for Delmus at Tha Playground. I've seen the beginning of many of their careers and I'm truly happy for ALL of them that put on for the city of Nashville. Sometimes, things don't go the way you SAID they would go, when it was all just a DREAM. Money comes in and brings confusion to some that never had real money before. Fame makes one do things you wouldn't normally do to attain or keep it. This record is personally heartbreaking to me, because there's so much truth in it. SMH. Tough love is the way we have to deal with some family, friends and colleagues. I would say that this is a tough love record and summarizes the feelings of MANY in this small, Nashville HipHop Community, Allstar just had the guts, audacity and bravery to put it in a record. My hope is that after the fallout, pain, hurt & humiliation, Buck can learn from this situation that this city ALWAYS had his back, even when he didn't have the city's back. This city kept "the family business" right here in Nashville, but one can only tolerate so much DISRESPECT and LACK OF RECIPROCITY before somebody has to say something. I'm sorry it had to go this way and I hope this doesn't get out of hand, because there are hidden hands that still make shit happen and this is the entertainment industry (the business of music), so I hope all parties involved remember that. I hope all involved use this buzz and their respective platforms to promote their music, merch, situations to better themselves, their TEAMS, the Nashville Communities of which they are actively DIVIDING through gentrification and shining a spotlight on the "other" Nashville HipHop artists that happen to not be Black (don't @ me, I'm educated & trill asf and I KNOW NASHVILLE HIPHOP). The only time they speak about OUR BLACK KINGS & QUEENS in Nashville HipHop is the negativity and beef. I commend Allstar for doing what Buck lacked the guidance to do at his peak in music. Buck, you lacked the guidance because you pushed it away thinking it was somebody that wanted to take something away from you and your shine. Truth is, your talent was & is REMARKEABLE and you were born to be a star! Nobody could've taken that from you, but you forgot about the people's shoulders you stood on to get you there and there were MANY- I was there. Each one teach one. You have a RESPONSIBILITY to use your platform to promote and put OTHER PEOPLE in position to use THEIR TALENTS and GIFTS to UPLIFT themselves, family, teams and communities, the SAME WAY someone GAVE YOU A CHANCE to use YOUR TALENT & GIFTS. This gift of life in human form, is about CHOICES we make towards our fellow man- and the outcome of those choices may not come immediately, but whether good or bad, the choices we make come back around. Choose wisely.
I'm from the Ville too my man. Lito def the real one, wish he would've never gotten fucked over by cash money, but that's how we got the Lito we have today. I hope one day he gets recognized for all the great music he's put out but that'll never happen....

Lil Murda an Hi-C were put on an release a sick tape as 615. I continue to support the solo work they release. City Paper had some good music an releases. His newest artists from Ca$hville records I've been watching out for an been making purchases. Sosa Da [Butt] Plug was dope when he was younger and I was following his 'career' And many more Artists I could name that I purchased music from thanks to Young Buck. -------- i'm not choosing sides in this shit, all I want is for both these dudes to stay alive an out of jail so I can get some dope music and support BOTH sides!
I hate seeing artist from my city beefing, that's why Nashville is only known for country music. Come together and create a greater force. Music Row is full of record labels and not one hip hop label
J. Reynolds ain't that the truth. Nashville and even more so.. Tennessee should be competing with anybody in the industry. And I'm not counting Memphis because they make a lane of their own as Nashville should be. Chattanooga has some of the best artists out at the moment. Knoxville is is gearing up day by day. Chad Harris every city goes through gentrification, Atlanta went through it in the early 90's after the Olympics. As black people we have to come together and stop killing one another. The condos are affordable, all it takes it good credit and decent job, it all starts with how we educate our youth.

As a ten year resident of Nashville (moved to Atlanta recently) this breaks my heart that these two have issues with each other. Damn. Oh well. Not my fight. I'll just see what happens.
