Thank you! Hope you have a great flight with Starlux! Was pretty impressed by the effort they put into their service and cabin even in Economy Class! 😆
I just was served up your channel here in Atlanta, GA, USA! As I, myself, am booked on Starlux Economy later this year from SFO to BKK (stopover in TPE) I watched this video with keen interest. I have been planning to upgrade to Premium Economy, but, after watching your video, see that I will be just fine in the Starlux Economy, even if I decide to save that extra expense. I chose a seat near the aft of the plane, hoping that the plane might not fill completely, and I might get a row to myself for the l-o-n-g flight. I was delighted to see that this was the case on your flight! I will be bringing my cat, Pun'kin, along (she must fly cargo), so I know getting her requirements all arranged, met, and documented, will probably be more paperwork than getting myself aboard. . .wish me luck?! Liked and Subscribed! Thank you so much for posting the exact video I wanted to see! So many people here in the Southern part of the USA aren't familiar with Starlux -- but I'm doing what I can to change that! (I'll be taking Southwest Airlines from ATL to SFO. "Two free checked bags," and Pun'kin can fly in the Main Cabin, stowed under the seat in front of me in her soft carrier.)
Hi there, thanks for dropping by! I hope this video gives you an idea of what its like flying with Starlux Airlines. Interesting to see that you are bringing your cat along for your trip as well. Hope you have a pleasant flight on Starlux and a great trip to Bangkok! ☺
STARLUX needs to join OneWorld ASAP. They have great products but frequent flyers like me won't fly them unless they are a part of an alliance. These A350 seats look much more comfortable than the crappy seats on China Airlines' A350.
Yes, indeed, Starlux should consider joining an alliance. Hopefully OneWorld, since they have codeshare partnership with Alaska Airlines. The seats onboard were quite well padded :)
I flew on Starlux, although the A321 earlier this month, extremely impressed. I would highly recommend them, not sure if you noted this but the one thing I did pick up the passenger base was a good deal younger than I find on most airlines and many families, the other thing I would agree with your observation about the entertainment it was, by some way the weakest aspect of the flight experience.
Glad that you had a great flight with them! :) True indeed, Starlux should consider more wider range of entertainment options on their screens, I did feel bored after using it during the flight. I do observe that most passengers onboard were Taiwanese, since the Starlux schedule caters more to their needs.
I don't understand why this airline is still so good at everything. Opened in 2020, the pandemic hit very hard and made them lose loads of money. The planes are quite empty and they have few international routes. All other airlines would have been cutting on luxuries and reducing costs but it seems like STARLUX wants to keep its top-notch amenities and service.
It's really impressive seeing how Starlux Airlines could continue to offer so much in their service especially after getting affected by the pandemic when they first started out. I hope they could sustain this level of service and make profits despite of the highly competitive industry.
Hi there. I must say it tends to be noisy at the rear. However, I normally sit at the rear as there tends to be lesser people there and the last row allows me to recline without worrying who is behind me. I guess if you prefer disembarking earlier, the front rows can be a better option :)
Since this was last year, I guess the crew members still had a mask on policy when working onboard. Looking at some videos, I saw that other Taiwanese carriers were doing that as well.
