Britain would pay more in tax if it meant we returned to getting world class services. Also consider that with the Tories record level of tax came more tax by stealth such as having to pay massive prescription charges, having to pay for dentistry, having to pay for private healthcare because the Tories have battered health and social care - the list goes on and on.
