You explain everything perfectly, you have great skills, you have beautiful quilts and you do nothing that drags out the video unnecessarily.. I love your videos. Thank you Donna
I’m catching up by watching your tutorials from several years ago. I am looking for a star pattern to make my military son a quilt. I may try this one. You explain everything so thoroughly and make it look so easy. I feel like we are friends just by watching you so much. 🎉
It would be so cool if you ( Donna) put out a beginners quilt book for people me, who are still learning to see and quilt. I would gladly buy one from you.
I would not pick greens as a first choice but this is beautiful quilt that I would consider using greens despite my first impressions. I did have a question, do you typically use white thread when sewing your blocks together? I really like your videos, they do give me confidence to try these different patterns. You explain them well and the videos are just long enough to understand. I am looking forward to trying some.
Donna, have I told what a great and confident teacher you are? I love this quilt for its fresh colors. Makes me look forward to Spring. Thanks for all you and Matt do for us.
Your attention to accuracy with cutting, finger pressing, pressing, matching intersections and your helpful guidance in all of your tutorials Donna is more than helpful. Your voice is encouraging, kind and calming. I look forward to every tutorial and search for past tutorials until your new one comes out. Thank you for your free patterns and give-aways. You amaze me. I’d love to see the long arm quilting at the end of the quilt segment go on just a tiny bit longer to see the effect close up. Greetings from Wisconsin.
Hi from South Africa 🇿🇦 I've started quilting but wow it's not easy... time is always a challenge to get things perfect. I truly think a person that can put such a beautiful quilt together is amazing!!! Well done.
I’m sure you must get tired of showing the same thing over and over, but as someone who has never quilted, it really is helpful!!! I love watching your videos. Thank you for being such a great teacher !!
You are very good teacher, simple, neat and easy going. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it means a lot to me. Merry Christmas and an Excellent 2019!
Donna, Thank you for this beautiful pattern. I'm a very novice quilter and I can tell you- your tutorials are more educational than some of the online classes for which I've paid. Please continue with these tutorials in 2019. I like the fact that your not a diva or drama queen when explaining what to do. Happy Christmas to you , Matt and family. A prosperous and healthy 2019. Jan (County Kerry Ireland)
What more can I say? You are an amazing teacher and a pleasure to watch. You give me the confidence to try and accomplish anything. Thanks again for sharing and stay safe.
Love the pattern and you are so easy to follow with your teaching methods. You are always kind, smiling, encouraging and fun. Gods blessings to you and your family.
I do love this pattern. Thank you Donna I will be downloading it! I've only started to quilt again after two years of losing my mojo! Seeing the fat quarter bundle in the greens did not impress me until I saw the quilt finished. Truly lovely Donna. Wow! You rock.
The Ohio Star Quilt block is my favorite of all quilting patterns, and this is a delightful variation! Thanks so much for sharing it and making the pattern available as a free download. You're a very gifted teacher, Donna, and a wonderful asset to the online quilting community. Have a lovely Christmas, Jordan family!
Love this tutorial & all of the others you have done! Looking forward to the next one. I bought a weight for my long ruler like you use. Really does help!
Thank you for sharing Donna, I love how easy the quarter square triangles came out, I haven’t made them yet. I love your videos, extremely helpful as I can refer to it when I forget ☺️👍💗💕💖❤️💜🥰☺️ Take care and God Bless, Chris-Raleigh NC
Thanks for all your excellent tutorials! I love how thoroughly you explain everything, making it so easy to follow! I was disappointed that I did not see Jordan Fabrics on the Road to California vendor list, ☹️
I love your videos. I appreciate the free patterns you offer. I wish your store were closer to where I live. Next time I’m in the Pacific Northwest, I’ll make your shop a stop, for sure. You two are a great team and couple. Congratulations on all your success.
Just love this quilt tutorial. Donna you make it look so easy and the logical way of laying the square out at the machine is great. Thanks for sharing.
Five stars for this one, Donna! This is one of my favorite of your many informative and lovely quilt top videos. I come back to it time and again. I use many of your methods and have learned so much from you. I’ve watched most of your tutorials and enjoy Matt’s videos too. I’ve never made this particular quilt, but it’s on my list!
Thank you for another wonderful quilt pattern and tutorial, the greens look great with the white contrast. I think the aqua fat bundle would look good too but perhaps with an alternative contrast? Many thanks, Jess
I would love to see the red fat quarters made up with its pattern, I think it would be a spectacular quilt. This green one turned out to be a real winner also. The pattern was terrific and I don’t recall seeing it before. Is it a brand new design? I love your tutorials and hope that you keep making them Donna.
I am in the middle of making this quilt. I do wonder though, why are the squares for the quarter square triangles cut at 6.25' but the finished block is 5.5'? Mine are coming out too small and when I look online to see what I should start out with in order to end with a 5.5' quarter square triangle, they say to start with a 7' square, not 6.25'! Even doing a really scant quarter inch it is very tight. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Looks almost Irish chain as a second pattern. Not a green fan, but love the pattern. Have never seen that quilting design before - love the way it is simple and does not detract from the fabric. Must try that on my next quilt. It looks like it would be a very easy design for free motion quilting, just have to keep in mind a pattern of order in going from block to block. Thanks for another great video and quilt. Merry Christmas!

Congrats for your job! Amazing! But I have a doubt, how do you make a quilting, each square, onde by one, or after joined all squares. Thanks so much! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
