This song began as a synth pop track I was originally writing lyrics to for my favorite Mass Effect couple, then Ryan fully orchestrated it and it became something so much more. This song is about connections, about finding love in the most unlikely of times and places, and holding tightly to it. A little light in this time of uncertainty.

Ok, long comment incoming, a bit late. I found your music on Spotify by mistake with O Willow Waly and I honestly don't know how many times I listen to it. I'm going through your ENTIRE library and saving your music in my playlist on there because girl, you have a VOICE. It's honestly magical. And this? I can certainly see it as a Mass Effect song. It's epic and heartbreaking. I'm curious about your favourite couple though this reminds me a lot about my Shep and Garrus and I just can't stop crying! It's incredibly enchanting. Thank you so much! 🥰 I wrote this song for my personal favorite pairing, which is Garrus x Shepard. But I can definitely see this working for Liara x Shepard, too. The lovely thing about music is you can interpret it however you want, no matter what the original inspiration was. 😌💙 And I love Liara.

@@AshleySerena My fav pairing is Shep Garrus too! Every time I play it I always try to do something different but I always end up with him cause let's face it, he's amazing. I think I've done a pairing once with Liara but despite the story being great, romantic and heartbreaking I can't help but get all jealous when he ends up with Tali lol I just felt like that bit when you sing about stars colliding reminded me of the times when they merge together. But the moment I heard "You cried out my name" I started crying thiking about the ext. ending with Garrus getting back on the Normandy and I just....aaaaargh, that breaks my heart all the time. Thank you again for your music, Ashley. It's honestly breathtaking and a gift x

Am back to listening to your songs again especially songs that are emotional and not like suffering from depression the mental illness but in a way it’s kinda of depression but not how millions feel. Listen to me if you want everyone believes am crazy. I have been suffering from this unknown longing for someone my whole life. I researched and learned about spiritual stuff and reincarnation/past life it’s interesting but mostly because of this unknown urge to find out this unknown “illness” I suffer from. I soon found out am not alone thousands or more suffer from this unknown lovesickness. Am happy to know am not alone and many tell me am not crazy to. I recently went to a psychic if you believe in them or not I do. The lady told me my past life lover went to war but sadly he never returned. Even without memories I miss him some people have memories of their past life but I don’t. My soul misses him so dearly that I long every second of each day for him am not planning to let go. I want to be with no one then this person so I continue waiting even if I have to wait for years. Thousands perhaps millions or billions or years I will wait no words can prove how devoted my love is for him. Thank you for listening if you read all this I hope you don’t ever become a victim of such illness lovesickness is basically like the worse illness on earth...💔😔😪

While listening to this, I keep thinking about my Mass Effect Andromeda couple and wondering what your favorite ME couple is. I would love to know! As an avid fan of MEA I'm hoping to soon get into the original trilogy as well. As always, I absolutely love your music!
