Starset's whole concept is exploring technology and that technology's effects on humanity, both positive and negative. And also exploring the potential effects of that technology getting in the wrong hands. This video explores the technology of cloning. And, even though you can recreate the physical properties of a person, you will never be able to recreate what makes that person special. Their soul.

Starset is one of my FAV bands!!!! Their lyricism is on another level, and the concepts to their albums are very clever. One of my fav songs by them is a slightly slower song, but it hits me in the feels is Dark On Me You should check it out

Starset's music, videos, the whole theme is meant not just to impress with visual effects & sci-fi technology, but to raise the ethical questions that we would have if we _actually had_ the technology that exists in the world they portray... because a lot of it is often discussed by real-world science. The comparison to Black Mirror is valid in that respect.

I'm a simple man. I see a reaction to a Starset song, I crunch that like button

This band is so good because, I think, so far, it is what it wanted to be. The guy behind all these albums, the lead of the band, is a musical genius, but also he is, I vaguely remember, an astrophysicist is something. He knows what he's fucking doing. It feels like Starset is the only band that does this 'disruption of genres' this well. Some would argue it's BMTH, and I'd respect their view. But the amount of expertise in the department of instrumentation and lyricism Dustin and their go to producer, Rob Graves, bring with them is just amazing. If you see any live videos of Starset, you'll see their are like 8 people on stage playing different instruments, and once you see them, you can notice ALL the instruments playing in the song. Starset is like Rammstein if Rammstein was less aggressive, more immersive, had a very techy vibe and was very very depressing.

Starset is that kind of artist who has millions of views on YT and streams on Spotify but nobody knows them. 😂 I really love their kinda movie sounding style and the universe, galaxy theme that is always present in the song and MVs. Hope you check out a few more songs, like Monster or Everglow which is my favorite.

Ive never heard of Starset, but I was at Menards this weekend, and saw this young guy in all black, with a beanie, looking real Portland like (I'm in Indiana), and his hoodie had a circle with Starset going around it. He stuck out to me bc one, he didn't look like the "home improvement" type, and he also was like the only one walking around in a mask. Today I was looking around at "First time hearing Breaking Benjamin" reactions and saw "Starset" as a suggsetion... Figured I'd check them out and see what they're about. Update: Man that was awesome. The songs was great, the video was crazy. Awesome altogether. I'm gonna have to check them out some more.
