This video was made specifically for a student enrolled in my embroidery mentoring program who was discouraged about starting embroidery business due to lack of sources for embroidery blanks without minimums, no storage in her home for large inventory and limited embroidery hoop size of 4x4.

I started embroidering 15years ago with a single needle Brother with only a 4x4 hoop size. I did really well with it so you are absolutely correct that you can start with that. Another great video!

You are AWESOME.....I found a new love for embroidery. I want to start a business. I have a BROTHER SE 400. You have really ENCOURAGED me. I still have learning to do. The tension and bobbins hang and tangles. Its frustrating..... I have done free jobs because I'm not sure of myself. But get a lot of praise. Takesha (Sry if I didn't spell it correctly), Girl!!! I am DOING IT with a 4x4!!! I started 18 months ago with it and that's STILL all I have! I've done commercial work, custom work, baby work, ADULT work!!! The only limit to your 4x4 is YOU. You also have another option that will let you go 4x6.5! Kandia! We need to get her going! LOL! Great Video! I am a disabled veteran and on a very limited military disability, I get discouraged because of my very small check. My crafting is how I earn a living. I am considered a liability for employers because of all my disabilities. I really appreciate how you show buying on a budget. I just got my embroidery machine today and it only does a 4x4. I was discouraged because of the size it is limited to but seeing this video and the comments about how you can make it with a 4x4 helps me a lot. Thank you for your video.

Good for you. Your right. I was forced into retirement due to a disability. I had to do something besides watch tv. I got and embroidery machine and learned how to sew and embroider. It's a good job you can be your own boss.

I got a nice *Singer* Simple sewing machine in the case & everything that was put out by the apt complex dumpster last summer! And I don't even know how to sew!😂I haven't sat in front of one since 7th grade Home EC class in 1977!😂But slowly I'm leaning to get over my intimidation using RU-vid videos!😂So glad I stumbled across your videos! I am just sitting here thinking of things I can do and ways of packaging like you do. I literally have hundreds of thousands of embroidery designs and many are in the hoop which I love so I get bogged down in what to offer. I think I need to narrow it down to specialize in something. Are there too many baby focused businesses now though? I do absolutely love anything baby.

Thank you so much for this video. I am starting out with a Brother LB 6800 which came with a 4x4 hoop but there is also a 6 3/4 x 4 hoop so even with smaller machines you can do this. Other machines by Brother can take a 5 x 7 hoop but has to be bought separately. You have given me some greatly needed encouragement and ideas hope this post is helpful to others.
