You can buy either from one of my US distributors in USA: Alfissimo or Centerline, or directly from my webshop shop.stuff4car.com/en/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=52 In terms of reliability or influence to car operation. This device is pretty neutral to the car (even in totally unlikely case of fail - never happened such), designed very carefully, manufactured with attention to details, inspected during production, uses quality components and professional subcontractors (e.g. PCB manufacturing, SMT assembling, laser cut housings), then each device is fully tested on automated electronic tester and needs to pass 2560 tests. We never had single complain - over a year we sold ~500 worldwide, probably half of this in USA. Note, that I'm electronics engineer (Msc EE) with 17 year of professional experience in aircraft industry (working as senior development engineer for US company (remote contractor abroad 11 years, earlier as employee), just decided to setup my own business now), so I have all required experience in making designs right, roboust, tested etc.

No, it is not my device controlling this. It is newer firmware in PAM module (park assist) of my Giulia - I got the upgrade in early 2019 during visit to dealership and since until I start engine and engage Drive or Reverse, park assist automatically is off. FYI, upgrade popped up becase my infotainment was upgraded which allowed a few other ECUs to show new upgrades available.

Its low volume production, done for niche/premium cars. Its made with top quality components, each unit tested fully on automated tester, each unit during production screened/inspected to make sure all is as should be. There was big enough NRE/R&D cost related to get it as quality product - this makes the unit price as is to get some profit and so keep point of manufacturing them. Its made in Europe, not China, what also has impact on product price, all subcontractor services we pay a lot of premium due to volumes like 100pcs batch only each time. If you want these cheaper - possible when you pay via EUR bank transfer - makes sense if you have internet banking with cheap SEPA bank transfers (free or like 1EUR like we have in our bank) - then I can give you extra 10% (Paypal is super expensive for corporate outside EU zone - they put 3.9+2.5% on everything, including VAT and shippment, and force currency coversion, so this is close to 10% of total really taken by Paypal leaches)

But for what it does I would have happily bought one for about 50€, not 100 (considering shipping). Can’t wait to change my opinion in your favor.

@@lacasadellognomo Courier takes 14-17 for shipping within EU (we keep flat EUR15 for ease), and as I added later Paypal is part of price tag. When you decide, email me on info@stuff4car.com, we can knock a bit from price if you pay via EUR/SEPA bank transfer. If you decide for sending via post registered letter instead, we could further knock around EUR10 within EU from shipping costs getting total to approx EUR75 so half way to what you wanted - maybe that is enough?

NO, that is car function - when you get your parktronic module updated to recent enough version of firmware (more or less 2nd half 2018) parktronic disables when car in P or N, only selfactivates in D or R. I got this update to my April 2018 GIulia, after infotainment firmware update - it showed up (it shows when you have infotainment firmware at least MV072.xxx.xxx)

Dziękuję za zwrócenie uwagi. Faktycznie, teraz po oglądnięciu jeszcze raz materiału przyznaję, że raz poprawnie a raz niepoprawnie wymawiam te słowa. Materiał powstał bez próby, jakiegokolwiek skryptu czy przygotowania, właściwie celowo gdyż nie mam wprawy w byciu nagrywanym, a nie chciałem żeby mnie krępowała przemyślana wersja - spróbowawłem "pójść na żywioł". W dalszej części nagrania chyba mnie lekka trema jednak dopadła i słabiej to wyszło (słychać). W przyszłości postaram się poprawić :) Pozdrawiam
