I have a 2017 Giulia and love it, I’ll be getting another for sure. We got it with less than 10k miles on it and have had minimal issues. I’m torn between a new Alfa and a new Genesis for our next purchase.
Sorry I don’t get it. I have a Giulia QV and never look at the key, it’s stays in my pocket. The last thing I need is a rechargeable key. What a waste of money.
It’s decent, but takes too long to access things, I like to access the buttons on my Alfa key from inside my pocket, the Alfa key is straight forward and super easy to access the buttons quickly plus the Alfa key has the emergency physical key in it, but to each their own
Are you still using this key? How's it holding up a year later. Also, my only complaint with the OEM key is it's absurdly large, feels awful in the pocket. This key doesn't seem to be much smaller sadly. I wish someone would just make a thinner key fob that's all I need
@@_fast4lfa The inner circuit board is actually not even that big, I wonder if someone (alfissimo or madness) could just 3D print a new case for it. The "fob" just has buttons that push the actual buttons on the circuit board which is less than half the thickness of this giant rock lol.
This definitely looks cool, but I wouldn't cop one personally. These touchscreen keys are always super laggy on the display, and I already got myself an official alfa romeo color matched backing replacement for the OEM fob. If the key somehow added the automatic window up/down feature I'd consider it, but if it just does what the OEM fob does I don't see a purpose for it.
I have the same car and colour as you and love your mods! I want to order the QV side rockers. Do you have lowering springs and wheel spacers?? Any recommendations?
Hey…I enjoy watching your videos as I currently own a 2018 Giulia Ti…I have a question for you totally unrelated to any of your vids- I noticed that you have the “side skirts” now. I ordered them and haven’t had the opportunity to install them yet. However, I was wondering if there is a template or some kind of guidelines for installing them. In other words, how did you know the exact placement for them? I’ve scoured the internet and can’t find anything on this topic. I would appreciate any insight or advice that you can provide me with regarding this topic. I wish you had a vid for it.😂 BTW- yours look great & I enjoy all of your videos- keep ‘em coming!😊🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks man!!! So there is only one way they will fit flush. Literally. Only one angle on each side where the entire flat bottom will be in contact with the car. Once you find this angle attach it there. Won’t take long for either side I used epoxy
@@_fast4lfa Great! Thanks so much for the insight! I live in upstate NY and it’s gonna be a little while yet before I get to it just based on outside temperature alone…thanks again!😊🤘🏻🤘🏻
Currently in the process of acquiring one of these key fobs. Question for you. Do you think I will be able to put this key fob into my new Guilia when my lease ends on my current one?
What’s the Avg mpg you get? Not counting when you take it to the track. My 2020 Giulia Ti Sport Is advertised for 24 city/ 33 hwy but i always avg 19 mpg without even over stepping on the gas but The dealer says there’s “nothing wrong” with it. How has your consumption been?
I love techie things too - but few things : The screen looks painfully laggy and most important I never touch my key (the beauty of keyless entry and keyless start) So basically your paying $300 for a cool looking key - to get what attention? Beautiful car though!!!!!!!
Quick question for you. Where did you buy the side skirt carbon fiber? It LOOKS amazing by the way! Also, how did you install it, if you don’t mind sharing?
