Mzee this is just amazing. Is there a way this can be documented in a book so that some of us who are not in UG can profit from your valuable knowledge???? The easy language used, the illustrations in terms of practical examples....... This worth of knowledge needs to be documented for some of us with little formal schooling.
Good advice, I feel like to start now. Bt am abroad. By the time I go back home I will be able to start . Thanks dear may God bless you so so much 🙏🙏🙏🙏
It makes mo sense starting with mature hens ready to lay than day old chicks. U spend mo money feeding the chicks for 5 months b4 u can see any returns while the one with mature hens is already producing n multiplying. Intriguing practical concept!! Kudos! 👍
@@mzeechicksIsaq have been watching other content about this field but didn't feel inspired as this one did for me so thanks once again .. hopefully one day will start my journey to 🙏
Thank you Mzee chicks i have started but i failed to let them sit on their eggs at the same time as i wasnt arround when they started sitting. But i hope one day 'yeeess"
Congratiolation brother in jesus name ...i know you have alrrady reach the success of your ambituon...from 6 chicks now to more than thousand of chiken now...i salute you..brother... From philippines..
This is inspiring. Lloyd from Zambia copper belt province I want to start from home. kindly advise on all the requirements for 6 birds. Also requirements for the new chicks
This is good but....Its unlikely that the five hens will begin sitting on their eggs on the same day. That means they cannot hatch the chicks on the same day. Even if they started laying eggs on the same day, each hen lays a different number of eggs before it starts incubating them. Some will even miss some days of laying. So its more complicated than is shown here. Non the less, even when those events take place at different times, there will be "fruits"
I agree with you. I learned some cocks mate with hen they are attracted to, so it may happen that not all the hens will lay unless you bring in another male
Me I started with chicks because I wanted to know the whole process of rearing and brooding, any farmer needs to know. Commercially it's true to start with old hens
Hi best chicken Dad, my mother to be hen abandoned brooding over her eggs when some very tiny insects attacked her nest, how can I fight this insect invasion
