Ada namma oru :). I watched a RU-vid video about farming Taiwan Pink Guava and decided to start my own business and leave my IT job. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic and tried this while working in IT. Through my experiences, I have come to understand that organic farming without the use of pesticides can be quite challenging. Meeting the expected rates from buyers can be a struggle, but I have learned that direct marketing can be a solution, but it’s not easy. In the past, I have encountered an issue where I received saplings with nematodes from a RU-vid source, leading to six months once of expensive pesticide treatment. However, I now know that farming can be profitable if you market directly to customers otherwise, you can do it as a hobby. COVID-19 saved my life; otherwise, I would have struggled. I asked myself whether I should work hard for less money or have a steady IT salary. Now, I’m working in IT, and my mother-in-law is helping me manage the farming, so I can brave any losses :)
HI bro...All the best for your future bussiness. Finding the suited bussiness plan for yourself is the difficult part. Find your area of your strength. As you were in the IT field (related to programming) why not to try related to that (may be thats will be your strength). Aslo , If you found a bussiness plan, Dont start directly. Try to work somewhere on the same bussiness for minimum 6 months. (with or without salery or minimum salery). Don't mistake me , Just my suggestion. I also came through this situations. Tried lot of things and found a bussiness plan.. [ Find you strength....Find Bussiness Based on That]... Hatsoff to you efforts. Also for sharing your experiences....

Bro, since you have dry land i would recommend you for dates farming, it is good for hot climate. Goat farming is good but it requires lot of physical work, you can't simply do this business. You look like not much exposed to hard work in agriculture land, i mean taking care of goats😊
