I stopped going to lady stylists because I was majorly getting chopped...I can go to the barbershop for a major cut which I started doing a whole lotta years back. Just got my starter locs today and my loctician shampooed, conditioned and went through my whole head with a fine tooth comb. My hair is to my lower back, a few inches from waist length, very thick and is type 4bc. My scalp was sore when I got home…but the coils are pretty. Seeing you detangle made me a little jealous. Lol.

I wish you lived near so I could get locs! My hair grew back different textures after an illness and I've had 2 people tell me they couldn't do😔

Trust!! Such a biggie! You started my locs 10/7 in Baltimore. I went to a stylist for a shampoo/condition and retwist. Why did she combine at least 30 locs!! And slathered twist and loc in my hair...searching for a trustworthy loctician

Do you do classes on how to start locs...I’m in cosmetology school but I’m wanting to specialize in natural hair and locs but of course they don’t really teach how to work on our type of hair or get a mannequin with our texture of hair.

My loctitian didn’t bother to clip my ends when I started my first set. I had shoulder length hair 🤷🏾‍♂️ I didnt mind

Can you drop a video or restate or point me to a video or make a playlist of process of hair care. Example if a few of my locs have "popped off" What could I do to regrow locs in place of my lost locs? And care of my hair or scalp so this will not happen again! Please help I'm confident you've already covered it but you have 6 years worth of videos. Or just some basic knowledge about hair care. Im new to this loc journey my friend lost a few of her locs and she now has a missing area of her locs now.

Why is it that when I do my coils they start to come apart as soon as I take my hand off of hair. When as I’m twisting the coils look so promising until I let go of hair. I spend much time trying to keep them together always having to reduce coils doing my whole head takes four hours. His coils just stay together at first twist what am I doing wrong . This video is so informative I’ve watched your RU-vid channel for a few months and recently decided to get locs so I went to loc beauty shop and the owner looked and my hair and told me I would have to get two strand twist and get them medium because of my texture I told her I wanted coils and I wanted them pencil length and she told me that her shop did locs according to hair textures I thought that you could start locs using any method I always saw in your videos that you give the customer what they want as long as the hair is healthy unfortunately because of this I’m unsure about getting them because two strand twist locs are not what I want hopefully you can come out with some content regarding that topic anyways great video

Started my locs this past weekend and my loctician said I couldn’t wash my hair for 3 months. The crazy part is, when I had my first set I was washing my hair every month (found her when I was two months in and she washed it.) should I just ask her to wash it or go to someone else to wash it?
