I’ve been dealing with so much hesitation around starting a booktube channel. You really helped it not seem so daunting and I’m feeling a lot more optimistic about making my channel and eventually connecting with people that I can talk to about books. So jealous of the community you have and how you all collab together! Thank you for this

Ahh I love that we both stressed a lot of the same points, even though our filming/editing processes are completely different! 💕 (I had no idea you could change you’re phone quality - doing that asap 😅)

We definitely need more videos like this! I’ve been on booktube for about half a year and still struggle to get things going especially since romance readers are such a small part of the RU-vid world. I’ve been following your booktube friend group and love watching each and every one of you! Glad to know that you all are so welcoming and open to helping others in this community! ❤

This was so helpful! Always wanted to start a book-tube and you made it not as scary to start. I have no friends who like to read romance and love your sprints! Those are my fave!

I already started my channel but I’m still very new and I really appreciate all of these awesome tips for growing my channel. Jess had a great video as well! I watched that, too ❤ Establishing a brand is a bit challenging for me since I read a wide variety of genres, I don’t only read romance or only read classics, but that’s staying true to myself so I’ll count it as a win 😂

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve recorded and edited about 6 videos but haven’t posted any yet. I’m working up the courage! I live in the UK and wondered if anyone knows of any UK based romance booktubers? The time zones for sprints don’t always work out for me!

I love how you start this: it's challenging. it's terrifying. Yes, yes it is. Hahaha. I'm a newbie and trying to figure it all out and I love your channel and this video. Thanks for the great advice. I'm definitely going to do some sprints and look for some collabs and get out there and meet people. Woohoo! Let's be friends? 😁

I find ring lights distracting for sure. Especially if I am watching someone who wears glasses and I can see the reflection.

I found your channel from @honestfiction - I’m so excited to take notes! I have had my channel for 1.5 years, Post 2x a week and am having trouble breaking the 1k mark. It gets really frustrating to talk into the void sometimes

How funny, I just switched to Tuesday and Fridays too for posting. I have found around 11am is better than what time YT says to post (6am)
