Got a track saw a few months ago, can't live without it now. Got the Makita barrel grip jigsaw recently, absolutely hate it. Easily the most dangerous tool in my collection. That stop start button system is cause for a recall. Have bent a few blades already & still forget how fiddly it is to shut off almost every time I use it. I also have a traditional pull trigger style, love it. Sneak up on the cut & full control of how & when I want it to work.

Ha. Love how it grows past ten items. Not a month goes by when another tool of one type or another isn't added to my armoury. Have a look at a cyclone for your extractor. Just stuck one inline between my extractor and tool. Keeping my filters a lot cleaner and making emptying simple. Also does away with bags.

Scott Brown Carpentry keep up the awesome work you are doing. I have been long wanting to own DeWalt cordless power tools but after watching your earlier videos I have decided to go Makita. After watching your videos and numerous other DeWalt vs Makita youtube videos Makita stood out. Went to the local Toolshed in New Plymouth, the store assistant and I started talking about Scott Brown Carpentry videos....the best!! You're popular here in the Taranaki!!

The 10 inch dewalt is so good here in Wellington to carry up all the hills and steps. I haven't even noticed the slightly smaller capacity. Does everything the 12 does but is way more compact. I did buy the led light for the blade off amazon straight away, so handy.

I started off going on offeeup. I found a kid moving into a college dorm who had a DeWalt drill, skil jigsaw, sockets, skilsaw and some other tools for $100 bucks total, all barely used. Bought a Delta table saw with stand,5 shop lights with bulbs,10 circular saw blades, all for 50 bucks off the same app. It's always good to look around but sometimes you get lucky like I did. I of course bought some tools later on.
