today we are using the grapple bucket on the bobcat for a job of removing debris and left overs. if you have any questions leave them in the comments. #dumptrailerbusiness #howtomakemoney #bobcat
I tilt my trailer up a little for loading my tractor and implements. The skid steer goes in backwards mostly for weight distribution, but it's a gooseneck trailer. My main comment would be get the trailer much closer to your work area so you're not tracking so far. When we're cleaning up sites, clean out a path with the bucket and get the trailer in there so it's a loading frenzy. Way to rock n roll it. Foxtrot Juliet Bravo.
I'm from Bakersfield and I felt that when you said FJB lmao. Starting my Landscape and Grading business in the next month or two when my c-27 is finished, just waiting on the goofies in Sac (Newsom) to send me my test date. Cool to see someone semi-local to me gettin'r done! Got my dump trailer a few weeks ago and already paid off the first two months with 1 job lol. Just need to find out if i need a skid or a stand-on. Have a good one man.
Nice man! Way to go! I hope that all works out for you as well! Nowadays you have to have multiple incomes to survive lol. God I pray none of them get back in office again.
Video was good editing was good When you charge too little even if it's for a friend don't tell the world It makes everybody think they can get prices like this You used almost a quarter million worth of equipment to make $250 an hour... And that's not all profit You still have to take out all your bills labor wear and tear maintenance insurance and business profit before you can even pay yourself. Only share how much money you make when you are crushing it and getting paid a fair wage for how much you are putting on the line. Most people friend or not won't use that type of equipment for less than 1800 and that's for only about 4 hours for what you did. (2023) I don't know your friend's circumstances but when is he going to cut his prices $1,300 for you? 😮 Good luck with the work and your videos keep it going😊
Lawd! 172 for 1.5 ton.. I'm paying $58 per ton here in Tennessee. At some point, discarding trash will be too expensive to do. We'll go back to burning ourselves.
@@gunnerranch So how has asking customers to pay the dump fees gone? You experience much of an issue collecting? Or should ask, how do you actually go about it? Feel free to make a quick video, so you'll at least get paid for the response. 😂
@@muletowndumpsters it's pretty easy. Unless you wanna do an all inclusive price you can but you'll screw yourself that way. I just say my rental is 299.99 plus dump fees. Set your dump fee rate to the local price of what your local dump is. I collect the first to price. So if it's $120 that's what I collect. Typically I'm $420 OTD unless it goes over 2000 pounds.
All dump or garbage collection should be free of fees issue be included in everyone's taxes it's in everyone's best interest to have trash put in one location Otherwise you get people dumping on the side of roads in the desert etc Not good for anybody So when they start gouging like they are now you're going to see more dump sites pop up in weird crazy locations which then in turn cost the taxpayers a ton of money because the government goes in cleans up those areas eventually but you know they clean it up at what $20,000 per toilet bowl how does that help any of the taxpayers😮
Sleepy Joe! Lol. Well I'll tell you what most my friends or business owners here where I live and all of us have suffered making about half of what we normally do I own a boat rental business and I can tell you right now that since Joe Biden has been in office we have made half the money that we normally do. I would have rather dealt with Trump's mouth and let him work and make a lot of money. But average people aren't smart like that and hear free and think that they were going to get all kinds of free stuff with Joe Biden and they don't. He fooled everyone The things you are getting free are the tax dollars people are paying into. Are the higher gas rates all the taxes have gone up that's how people are getting stuff free.
Maybe start with your local government. They are the ones behind green energy. Soon all you guys in California won't have gas or diesel power anything.
Would you recommend a trailer like yours will the high walls? Or lower walls? I figured low walls would be easier for lifting the bucket over to drop debris in the trailer
I would get a trailer with removable walls. 2 feet stock and 2 foot add on. If I had the chance to do it over again I would get a trailer that can carry more weight. I would also at least get a 16 ft. The 14 is a little small in my opinion but it gets the job done.
Hi there it really depends what state your in. Most require a contractors lisence to do the work we are doing. General liability should cover if you damage someone property.
Well let's just start by saying dump fees are now about 30 to $40 higher than they used to be. But you really would have to talk to my tax lady. When Trump was in office We were booming and making so much more money than we are now It's absolutely ridiculous. I don't care what excuses people make the Biden administration and the Democratic parties have really ruined everything. They have ran California into the ground. My w-2s looked so sad this year and last year and the year before that. And they are gradually getting worse and worse and worse it's actually embarrassing Biden and all the Democratic party needs to go already they've failed enough. You can't give everything free someone has to pay for it.
Man the dumpty's kind of like an iffy subject I just tell the customer that they can Venmo me at the dumpy cost more I've never been screwed over but I make them pay at least the original dump fee up fromt
@@anonymous_friend nice so I have a PJ trailer and I have a bobcat T590 and I have a bobcat T595. If you buy a trailer buy a good one. I recommend buying bigger and better. My 14 is a bit small. You'll need a truck as well. You'll have to buy one thing at a time unless you have 100k. First I had a diesel truck already. Then I bought the dump trailer. Then I bought the bobcat. It's a grind but can be successful if you give 100%. Some state laws suck to
Lmao I don't like Joe Biden he has ruined a lot of small business in his decision including mine. Business is so incredibly slow for alot of people. He doesn't know what he's doing
@@gunnerranch sorry my friend. What policies has he initiated which have negatively affected your business? I'm a business owner as well, and his actions haven't hurt my business. The cost of living has been increasing for 4-5 decades though, while incomes have been stagnant. Basically, many people are struggling to afford the basics, let alone healthcare and housing. At least we can all sleep well at night knowing the 1% are flying off into outer space, or hanging out of yachts longer than a football field lol
Man I would have to disagree brotha. When Trump was in office I had so much more money it's unfortunate. As far as policies ECT I don't even want to get into all that it's pointless. He ended a lot of trade deals that messed us up... Gas has been crazy since he joined into office.
@@gunnerranch hang in there my friend, and don't forget that president's don't set gas prices, the oil companies do. My main business problem right now is finding employees, with such low unemployment, it's hard to find good workers 👍
