For a wider drag ... find an old section of chain link fence to cut as wide as you want, run a stiff bar along the front edge, add some weight if you need to. Make another when it wears out. ... As far as the flooding problem, take a look into the Regenerative Agriculture channels or just start with that Gabe Brown Ted Talk. Minimal tillage and roots in the ground all the time increase the ground's ability to absorb water eliminating the puddling, drowning, and run off erosion problems and you should end up with higher value hay.

Drain tile... Although in rented ground this needs to be considered carefully.. No point in paying for it if your getting kicked off the land in a couple of years..

chuckee, if you get burned by fire ants , vinegar takes care of the burn. Then a wash with baking soda gets rid of the vinegar and the smell. Another great video!!

Hey Bud, Do you have a local co-op or farm supply that sells bulk fertilizer. If so, they probably rent fertilizer spreading buggies. That you can pull with your tractor. Since you don't have to pay the expensive of it coming in bags. That saving will go a long way in covering the cost of renting the buggy. Those places generally have a concrete mixer type machine. That will custom blend mixes of different fertilizers. My co-op doesn't charge extra for that. Anytime I'm doing exactly what your doing here. I take my seed, dump it in the blender machine. Just let the seed spread along with the fertilizer. A word of advice. Lite seed will only be thrown about half as far as the pellets of fertilizer. When calculating your rates. Plan on spreading half the fertilizer in a single pass. Because you'll need to cut your with of spread in half in order to get the seed spread evenly across the field. Takes a little more time of course. But You will still probably get 20'-30' in a single pass. I've done this many times. It works.

Why not build your own toolbar or look for 3, four row planter or old drill

I think you need an apprentice to help you out with the loading! But it sure looks dry there now there was even dust coming up from the harrows!😀🇨🇦

No hate but why don’t you use one of your other tractors for doing a small job like spreading seed I’m sure it would be more fuel efficient and put a lot less hours on your nice Kubota

You substitute knowledge and labor for Capital. Unavoidable. But seems like MM and Oliver still are producing. Don't see much JD on here- very understandable. Creme didn't always rise to the top.

3 Dumb welding questions for you.? Can you tell me why a person would use a 7018 over top of the 6010.? And not just keep using the 6010... Is it because its shallower but Wider... So you have the deep pen narrow 6010 rod 1st, then tie into it with the wider shallower 7018 to fill it... 2nd... Why can some $300+ welders can run a 6010, but others of roughly the same specs won't.? But they all mostly claim they can... Wonder what part of the welder it is thats responsible for being able too run it or not... 3rd... Would u also know what makes One 120v welder able to run at 130 amps... But another 120v welder can only handle 80 to 90 amps on 120v.? What internal part is responsible for that Diff i wonder... Thanks
