This is our second video on how we started a LOW HISTAMINE DIET. The first video we uploaded on our channel was just an IGTV that we decided to put on RU-vid. So this time around we wanted to give a little more or an organized overview of what starting a low histamine diet looked like for us.

When i cry....i get EXTREMELY clogged in my sinuses. I was told that is histamine. I couldn't breathe when i used to drink wine and my face and neck would get red. So many other issues, too. Doctors throw their hands up in the air. Even my dermatologist. But they never suggest ANYTHING other than steroids. NO THANK YOU!! So i went home and tried eliminating things and started to figure things out on my own. Still figuring things out 5 years later, as i having been suffering a huge flare up all over my body. Eczema or psoriasis...not sure. It's slowly subsiding after 3 months. So much guess work. I am SO GRATEFUL for people like you, sharing your experiences.

Glad I found you! I have POTS,EDS hyper mobility, and Dermatographism, so pretty positive Mass Cell. Trying a low histamine diet now, it’s day 2. I’ve been in a lot of pain and my POTS symptoms are through the roof. Hopefully this diet will help.

I've been searching for info on Low histamine diet. Would you guys consider doing a "What We Eat In Day" A lot of the websites that list foods are all different. I also realize everyone is different too. It would be nice to see an example of what your meals look like.

pro trick : watch movies on Kaldrostream. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies these days.

Great post. I want to mention, your efforts are appreciated. As one who has seen a long string of doctors that don't "get this" (years and years) I only advance with this through prodigious reading on my own, and channels such as yours. For example, even with all the time I've put into this, for some reason I'd never come across Cytochrome, related mutations, tests etc. So now I'm "dancing" around with my recalcitrant doctors, trying to get tests for it. My point...you both *have* already helped people, enormously, and in many cases you'll never even know because not everyone comments on RU-vid, blogs, Instagram etc. While I'm sure you have hopes to grow your channels, newsletters, blogs etc, and hopefully monetize it, its already made a huge difference in some peoples lives. P.S. Nice of your "livestock" to make an appearance. :)

Hi, I’ve got horrendous hives all over my body - I’m almost certain it’s due to stress. So do you think I should go on the histamine diet - be strict? X

I’ve notice the past 1-2 years that certain foods irritate me and I couldn’t pinpoint what it was just like you guys. I never talked to my doctor or anyone else about it cuz my parents basically convinced me it’s all in my head & that there’s no connection between all the foods that irritate me and I started to believe it. I’ve had countless symptoms everyday such as headaches, sinuses, itchy skin/eczema, itchy throat and mouth, white hives, abdominal pain, sore throat, dry/irritated eyes & the past 6 months I’ve been struggling with chronic acid reflux/lpr/gerd which is the worst symptom for me 😢 Avocados, Spinach, Bananas, papaya, pears, dried fruits, citrus fruits, dairy, gluten, chocolate, & other things that I don’t remember at the moment irritate me a lot. I started researching the connection between these foods recently and I came across “histamine intolerance” & I was shocked cuz the lists of foods are most of the foods that irritate me as well as I experience most of the same symptoms associated with it. I’ve just spoken to my doctor last week so I can have a referral to speak to an allergist about it & when I told my doctor this is what I think I have, she started laughing at me & indirectly telling me that’s it’s all in my head & that there’s no such thing called a “histamine intolerance” but I’m hoping the allergist gives me some good recommendations 😞 the pain is hell

Thank you! I am dealing with the exact same thing right now and it's incredibly overwhelming. Listening to you made me feel so much better, that others understand. I felt paranoid with food for while too. This was extremely helpful.

@Sophia Whittles I have a question When I watch people who do low histamine they say my doctor recommend me this list of food I want to know if the doctor is a dermatology or nutritionist doctor plz answer me I don't know what to do anymore

Been scouring the internet myself trying to find a dietary remedy to my many auto immune issues and histamine intolerance. Really hard when you have crohns and colitis on top of everything else. Many diets. Become contradictory and set off other symptoms. I work with about 4 foods right now and dont really tolerate any type of carbohydrates which I constantly end up cycling back into my diet as when I remove them I end up losing way too much weight and energy as I dont have an adequate caloric intake to make up for the loss. I am wondering if you have any ideas for someone who cant have nightshades and starches. Been trying to figure this out for so many years at this point and I’m just trying to break the cycle. I find your videos very identifiable and think you are both great. -Jake
