The whole page is fantastic but the little snake at the bottom really calls to me so I’ll name that as my favourite I watched this video when I got up this morning so i was making tea, getting dressed, cooking, letting my dog inside xD so no drawing unfortunately. Im nearly finished my third sketchbook but this year has been busy so its been a bit slow. I do have a secret Santa to do by Christmas so I need to start thinking about that. It’s an owl character so very fun for me, I get to practice drawing owls which I have wanted to do on a few occasions. Jeltober sounds fun! I might take a look and see if it helps me finish my sketchboook XD I over-excitedly have several new ones already lined up so I really do need to hustle :P Love seeing the beginning of a new sketchbook and look forward to future sketch sessions with you!

How did you learn to draw animals? Do you have some tips?

I basically drew animals from reference over and over and slowly got better - it took some dedication but it was a fun process! Some days I would pick a specific animal to draw, and other days I would draw whatever came up on my pinterest feed. I think practicing a variety is good too since animals are all a little bit similar in some ways. Also, looking up their skeletal structure is helpful as well. I also try to draw them from memory to see how much I learned and what I remember about their anatomy after practicing for a bit. Hope this helps!
