Thank you for sharing, I just bought this game for my ps5 and I’m loving it but finding it a bit difficult since all the big fish (bass) basically only bite minnows and I can’t seem to catch a fish on a lure it’s hard😂 but watching your videos teach me a lot

5:36 There is a zoom in feature. I think it's F once the bait is in the water. It is 100% in the game in which you can zoom in to see the bobber better.

Also I have to say lake fishing in the mountains you can have guys catching 6+ trout each and no decrease in bite whatsoever, even with all of us keeping our daily bag limit of 4 rainbow trout. Toss it in and wait for less than 2 minutes for a beautiful trout with the right setup in the right spot. Ultralight setup for rainbow trout

Right on! Well I don’t know your particular living area, but there’s a pretty sick urban fishing culture in the UK. Dudes be fishing off bridges and canals in the middle of the city wearing sweat pants and tennis shoes, looks really cool. Wish we could get that going in the US.

@BZHub Yeah. I'm not sure. It's been out for a year, and the gameplay doesn't seem too different. Also, I feel like, for whatever reason, online fishing games greatly benefit from the F2P game model. Like FP and RF4.

I would definitely not buy The Angler considering fishing planet is free and feels/looks way more realistic. I am interested in checking it out though I bought all DLC for The Hunter because it's an amazing game. I was hoping for a campaign/career fishing game and not the same level system where you can buy shortcuts if you want which is in every other game.

It doesn’t take too long to find out that fishing is the boring part in fishing games. But try fishing sim pro tours… or something like that

how do i goet out the boundery to fish else where ive caught about 20 fish, found the gold coin, found 2 letters/Notes, been to the lookout tower, brought a new rod, reel, bait but still stuck in same area, cant go anywhere. how do i meet the Warden, ive not seen him yet>?

For what it's worth it's on gamepass on xbox (not sure if it's on cp gamepass or not). It's different from FP but it's a fun game in its own right and looks pretty good visually imo

I haven't played FP, but open world fishing where you can ride in boats with friends and drive a jeep from location to location, enough said lol. So far its been a great experience and looks great too. I definitely recommend it. My biggest complaint is no depth or fish finder on the boat but they could add that in at some point in an update.
