My m10 on my e21 has right now 432k km, but is the CIS version instead of carburetor. They are tanks, I like the sewing machine noise the valve train makes
@@datsoon9236 All the BMW's from that period are great, cars were built to last and designed to be worked on at home. It was over the last decade they got bad and having to drop the whole engine to do the chain just makes them dogs to work on.

For me this is the quintessential BMW. It's the first BMW I saw back in Finland and I don't think I saw the larger models until years later. Would love to find one some day.
Awesome! US E21 owner here slowly getting mine up and running after it’s sat for 20years. Hope to finish welding the rusted floor pans by the end of the month and turn it into a rally car !

My dad got his old e21 back from a friend who didn’t have enough time to fix it and it’s in even worse condition than this one, I really hope me and my dad can fix it
Oh man that was awesome to watch, I do have the 6 cylinder model 320/6 that been sitting since 2008 in the old country, can’t wait to see agin and get it going after all these years.
It’s such a beautiful BMW why don’t you Make a restoration of this car all from the beginning, washing, start changing some equipment until to the last one polish it! I would love to see that happening, especially on a BMW 😍

I would like to see nowadays car saving after 10 years or more in barn... It would be impossible to do anything with it. New cars are like disposable - 5years of use then throw it away and buy new one

Además tuve la suerte de hacer pintura para la restauración de uno igual hace uno años. Todavía está por ahí en festivales running...
It may be a BMW 315, 316 or 318. It does not look like a 320, since the 320 was with a 6-cylinder engine. I am a bit confused by the front end which has four round headlights instead of two huge round headlights from the 315/316/318.
