Photography can be a fun hobby. Most people, with a smartphone or other tools in hand, often take nice photos of their lives, people and special occasions.
But photography can be used to do more.
Photography can also be used as an important tool to spread awareness of social issues around the world.
In this interview, award-winning photographers Farn and Am share about their recent ‘The Boat That Moves Forward’ exhibition, how it started and their reflections from it.
The Boat That Moves Forward is an exhibition that reveals the plight of displaced Rohingyan children in refugee camps. The Rohingya refugee crisis, caused by escalating violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine State, has driven over 727,000 Rohingyan refugees across the border into Bangladesh.
