This is the start of Valheim on Xbox! We are going to start a new character and go through the game on Xbox to see how it stacks up against the PC version. We will be base building, defeating bosses, and building our character up to be the most powerful Viking ever!

Dude, the world is spherical. The map is spherical by the looks of it so you’re always going to be in the center as you move around the world. Your location on the sphere is going to change but you’re going to be in the center if it doesn’t represent that way, then the planet isn’t critical, the vamp is just deceptively looking spherical

Jason sorry if I scared you the other day on bobheim as."floridaman". ;) Good to see this game getting some attention ,I been playing it on and off from launch and have seen it grow overtime. Its not as polished as some big name games but for a small game studio its done well.

The chicken in the egg dude you just created a paradox so you’re going to remember how to build things as you pick up items but you can’t build any of the more complex items because you don’t have a crafting station yet how are you gonna build a crafting station if you don’t know how or don’t have the ability, you kind of take the game created a paradox there I do like the idea you don’t have to search all over for recipes And they actually worked in a decent premises to that you knew how to do this, but when you left Midgard and came to Walheim you forgotten, but you’ll remember as time goes on as you’re picking stuff up but still you have the paradox of how do I build a complex item without the complex item needed to build it

Excited for this series! Just beat the first Forsaken boss, easy with fire arrows and leather armor, but still clenching every time I go into the Black Forest lol

Same! I got through the Meadows fairly easy but the Black Forest makes me jump everytime notice a troll in my peripherals lol

Just wait till you hit the plains, the deathsquitos are a b-itch.. For black forest I go with round shield /bronze sword and troll armor. that will get you to Swamps.

So excited it's finally on Xbox! I've been loving it so far, although I heard of a "world reset" glitch so now I'm scared to continue😅 Nice video!

It isn't a real "reset" more so a world fix. There was a bug that would erase your game once you got to a specific save file size. They fixed that but it caused some issues.

Hi, it’s cool if I understood you that I can copy down your seat code and it will create the same procedure generated world. If I use that seat code that’s kind of cool most procedure generated shit is completely out of our hands and the only way people can interact with it is if they join us in our world so if you get a really cool world and people want copy it that’s kind of cool.

I think I heard it was a minimum 6 month exclusive for xbox. But how slow they are adding / updating the game it will be multiple years before it is finished. It feels like a "finished" game now to me, but adding more content is always appreciated

They’re not dwarfs OK, they’re Vikings Vikings. Women did not have beers. In fact, all they may have been larger and stature because they were Vikings after all the women were gorgeous as a rule, but they definitely weren’t bearded like some kind of dwarf woman or something.
