I so fucking wish I could get one of those indestructible 80s and 90s cars brand new without mileage. For now I have an Audi 80 B3 1.8S with LPG from 1991 with (99% surely legit) 276k km, and take care of it as much as I can. Dream daily driver if I were to choose from Mercedes? W124 OM606 wagon with 4matic or W140 OM606 with twin tank WVO / WMO conversion.

Great car. Currently own a M.Benz 300E( straight engine; 6cylinders; mechanical fuel injection). Bought it 2nd-hand at more than 200,000km over 200yrs ago. Changed the engine( fairly used) and the drive train. Only problem: poor gas mileage. I just love this car.
Hello Flexiny, Thank you for this new restart video, this 200 TE station wagon has covered a good number of km. It is a very sympathetic model aesthetically as well as in driving.
12:45 you can clearly see it didn't lasted for a million miles, not even half of that and it runs like shit. It was parked for a reason and you can bet it was running like that for a really long time before the owner decided to scrap it, judging by how badly the catalytic converter is clogged up. Oh, and a 116hp engine that can barely get 25mpg on a good day... no thanks.
@@fullmetaljacket7you're right, a bit slow. A catalytic converter is a consumable though, probably been running it with a blocked one for a while. We will have to keep watching flexiny to see cars of today in 25 years 😜

That Mercedes is a very nice vehicle for its age. However, there's one point I'd like to make. When you accelerate the car, it has a serious hesitation which I believe means partially clogged fuel injectors. Now, if you can, you should try fuel injector cleaner to see if the problem clears up. Remember this, fuel injectors will varnish over time when the car stands idle for years. Either you service the injectors by taking them apart or try the first remedy!!!!

Looks a lot like my E320 but the battery is on the other side and it has electric key fob, et Al. Great cars, they don't make them like this anymore but the new ones have their redeeming qualities like better ride suspension and more and more electronics. You have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to do basic functions. My battery itself is under the rear passenger side seat _-- charging posts are under hood by the rear air suspension fluid reservoir, next to brake fluid reservoir.
@@AlexbAlexb-kr9nt вполне себе поехал бы. У меня А100/44 ездила. Пока зимой не перестала заводиться. До -10 с полпинка заводилась. Как -10 и ниже- хоть обмаслайся стартером. Ни в какую. А с галстука тут же прям. Бензонасос 3,2атм выдавал вместо положенных 5,2. Заменили и проблема ушла

wow couple years more driving it hits 500.000km we are used to the good old Santra battery All The Time for Years this time it was not and the engine turns slowly just a funny detail

Tervist, tal on põhja all pump, see töötas kuid kütus ei jõudnud kapoti alla. Umbes oli ka. Tegelikult kui tellida uued pihustid ja sissepritse junni remondi komplekti siis saab ilusti toimima 😀
Jack the car up l know what the problem is it's under the fuel pump it is flooding out and the starting motor is on its last legs that's why it keeps cutting out
